I was playing cars at my friends, Kelley and Nathan’s house, and Mommy captured the face I make at the exact moment I first realize she’s taking a picture. It’s a fraction of a second before I start screaming, “NO PICTURE!”

Furniture is disappearing, boxes are accumulating, things are in general disarray…but I’ve always got YouTube.

For the past few mornings, I’ve been wanting a granola bar for breakfast. Mommy has been too slow to get it, so I had to take matter into my own hands. Nature Valley, I’m open to a sponsorship!

INT. KITCHEN – MORNING
Dexter sits at the kitchen table with a bowl of yogurt in front of him. His mother sits across from him.
MOMMY
Dexy, I want you to feed yourself 3 scoops.
DEXTER
No feed self!
MOMMY
You’re three years old now. You can feed yourself. Just do 3 scoops.
DEXTER
Mommy do 5 scoops. Dexy do 1 scoop.
MOMMY
No, Dexy do 3 scoops.
Dexter pauses to think for a moment.
DEXTER
Still pooping.
THE END.

My school hasn’t sent home my art in quite a while, but here’s the latest batch!

I was home sick yesterday, so I helped Mom pack. Well, I helped for a couple minutes and then got bored and played with cars.
Thanks to Nana’s friend, Ms. Kazuko, for making the sleepsack I’m wearing!

I went to Burbank again to play at an indoor playground called Rockin’ Kids. Veronica, Chris, and Crystal came, too!
Veronica and I said “hi” to each other, then never spoke or acknowledged each other’s existence again. Chris tried to play football with me. And Crystal helped me stomp virtual bubbles on the floor. And, of course, I played with cars!

I went to the La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA with Andy yesterday. We walked around while I chewed on a Tootsie Roll, made some paintings, and saw an exhibit called Metropolis II that had 1,100 miniature cars whizzing around!
