For the third night of Hanukkah, I got an electric NYC subway train set!

Daddy and I built it together.

I like to stop it at its stations.

There are lots of people who need to ride the train!

For the third night of Hanukkah, I got an electric NYC subway train set!

Before lighting the menorah, I dressed Abby up in a nice dress for the occasion.
Then I got down to the business of lighting two candles.
Tonight, Grandma and Grandpa got me a NYC Subway “D” train…
…and a book about the creation of the NYC Subway map.
This D train is running express up 6th Avenue!
Hanukkah began tonight! I lit the firetruck menorah I’ve had since I was a wee baby.
Grandma and Grandpa got me the card game Uno.
And Mommy and Daddy got me a toy where I get to dress people up in tulle dresses and comfy coats.
After dinner, I played Uno the way I do in Spanish class at school. I pick a card and say the number and color in Español. Cinco rojo! Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!
One of our traditions is to find the rainiest day of the month and then go get our Christmas tree. It makes the mission extra special.
I located the best tree on the farm and sent Daddy to work cutting it down.
I also found this cool tree that I could stand under.
After we put the tree in the car, I noticed the farm map!
So then, despite it getting dark quickly, I had to walk all around looking for the douglas, grand, noble, and nordmann firs. I even found a few scotch pines!
Fireplace!!! (We are thankful for fireplaces.)
We are planning on getting a new house next year to make sure I can stay in my awesome school that I love. So we went to an open house to check out the goods.
I’m ready to move in. There was a huge yard and I already planned out the amusement park I will build there.
This is a good spot for the roller coaster.
This is where the big drop ride will be.
And over there is the future home of the water ride. When do we move in??
Happy birthday to my favorite cousin, Kenji! We visited Seattle to celebrate his big day. He specifically requested a rainbow cake.
He liked dipping his finger in the frosting.
Then it was time to blow out the candles.
SUCCESS!
One thing I gave him were my old Duplo blocks.
He liked them as much as I did.
Then the next morning, we went to brunch. Kenji loves to put Daddy’s hood on his head! Happy birthday, Kenji!
We all went to St. Honoré in Lake Oswego. Daddy and I were having a great conversation until…
…he tried to eat my chocolate croissant!
I finished my first week of kindergarten and I was so tired!
Mommy and Daddy thought I’d want to be lazy all weekend, but I still wanted to go for a drive. We drove to a bunch of places and had a snack in the car.
Now it’s time to be lazy for the rest of the weekend!
Now that I’m feeling better, we went to Music in the Park for a picnic and some soul music from Ants in the Kitchen!
