We wandered around the Venice Canals yesterday. Someone tell the people who live here to go out on their boats more often because it seems really nice!

Mom and dad put my toys in a big plastic bin and I like to stand next to it and take them all out.

Uncle Mike came with us to the beach over the weekend and I touched the ocean for the first time! I loved it. In fact, I was pretty angry when we left.

I missed my last two swim lessons, but I’m back!

Yesterday, we went to TreePeople Park for my first hike! Dad hiked for me while I rode on his back. And sometimes Chubs hitched a ride, too.

Sometimes mom takes pictures with her iPhone and posts them to Instagram. Since some of my loyal followers don’t use Instagram, I figured I’d post a few here from our east coast trip:
Playing with Michelle’s hands at Brooklyn Bridge Park / Asleep after an afternoon of park play

Asleep on Uncle Mike’s childhood bed / Sitting by the deck in Rockland

The beach at Eastman Lake / Hiding behind the curtains in my bedroom in New Hampshire

Dad and mom kayaking while I took a nap

Coloring on the airplane / In the airport in LA after a long journey

For my last day in New Hampshire, I did a lot of hanging out around the house with the family and strolling around the neighborhood. I also went to the activity center and splashed around their toddler pool. I loved the toddler pool because it was shallow enough for me to sit by myself and crawl around!

We crossed the river into Vermont to go to King Arthur Flour, where everyone ate delicious sandwiches and salads, except for me (I had a delectable oatmeal and butternut squash number prepared by mother). We also visited the store attached to the restaurant that made everyone want to become bakers.
Afterward, we went back to New Hampshire near the Dartmouth campus. While mom, dad, Uncle Mike and Auntie Sarah browsed Left Bank Books, Grandma and Grandpa hung out with me outside to watch the people wander by.

On our way to New Hampshire, we stopped off at Amy’s Take-Away to meet dad’s cousins, Amy and John. I took a wonderful nap in the upstairs bedroom while everyone ate Amy’s delicious food. When I woke up, I had tons of fun playing with Amy and John, and I loved crawling around on their huge floor!

No sleep till Brooklyn! Literally. After a restless night, I spent the day at Brooklyn Bridge Park with mom and dad’s friends, Crystal, Chris, and Michelle. And after all the fun I had with them, I totally fell asleep in my stroller. Mom can’t even remember the last time that happened!
