Just playing with cars in my room while trying this weird cheese puff stick thing.

Yesterday, we went to see the exhibit that Auntie Sarah worked on at the Getty Museum. It was right up my alley, because there were lots of colors and shapes. We also went to the gift shop where I got a new book about…what else?…cars! Mommy read it to me about 5 times while we hung out on the lawn, so it might be my new favorite book.

Yesterday was our last day in New Hampshire. It rained in the morning, so I stayed in and played with Duplo blocks and my cars. Then we went to King Arthur Flour, where I tried (and am pretty sure I liked) a maple flavored lollipop. Then I went to Left Bank Books on the Dartmouth campus where I immediately found their stash of cars!
Bye, New Hampshire! Bye, Grandma and Grandpa!

We went back to the beach! This time, I wasn’t as interested in going in the water. But Grandpa showed me how to use my fishing reel on his boat and I played with my cars in the sand. Uncle Mike and Auntie Sarah joined us, too, and Uncle Mike pretended to be a sea monster.
Also, we went out to eat for breakfast and dinner. Not only was I amazingly well-behaved, but I also nibbled on some fruit, Grandma’s pickles, Mommy’s home fries, and Auntie Sarah’s maple syrup. Plus, I succeeded in sucking on a straw for the very first time! I’m not totally sure how I did that, but I’ll work on it again today.

Yesterday, we chilled out. We didn’t do anything special, which is exactly how I like it. I played with my big red car again, some Duplo blocks, and a brand new gold car. Grandma and Grandpa’s house is full of cars!

Wow, what a day in Grantham! We went to the lake and I loooved playing in the water. We got to see Grandpa’s new boat. I helped Grandma vacuum, played in my new red car, and nibbled on some pizza! What will tomorrow bring?

We drove from Manhattan up to New Hampshire and stopped to see Cousin Amy and John on the way. Amy made us lunch and I put a meatball in my mouth!

Yesterday morning, we had an impromptu beach outing. I had so much fun, I didn’t want to leave. Like, I really, really didn’t want to leave. It was a scene.

We went on a quest to find the two Little Free Libraries in our neighborhood. And we found them! They are seriously little. And they had some really cool books, though maybe a little old for me. I don’t think I’m quite ready for Edgar Allan Poe.
