Today we left Seattle to come back home, but enjoyed a little morning time with Kenji.
Kenji is my favorite cousin, so I gave him a little kiss.
Kenji really liked his birthday balloons!
Bye, Kenji. See you again soon!

Tuesday was Kenji’s first birthday, but we celebrated at his house today.
I taught him how to draw airplanes.
He really wanted to get into those cabinets!
I think he liked his cake! Happy 1st birthday, Kenji!
Nana and Papa went up to Seattle to visit Kenji for his 1st birthday. Then they came back to see me for a couple of days…just in time for us all to go back up to Seattle for Kenji’s birthday party tomorrow!
So today, we had a chill day hanging out at home drawing, enjoying the sunny weather, telling tales of Mommies and Jokey, and doing jigsaw puzzles on Papa’s computer.
Nana and Papa are visiting the Pacific Northwest for Kenji’s 1st birthday. But before heading up to see him today (happy birthday, Kenji!), they stopped by to visit me!
I was really excited to hug Nana. I think everyone was pretty surprised by what a hugger I’ve become.
Then we sat down to take a look at my maps. We looked at the places that all of the Hardy’s and Ludwig’s were born in. And I regaled them with my story of Mr. Pillow Head’s adventure from Oregon to Georgia.
I love laughing with Daddy while he gets me ready for bed every night. Tonight I yelled, “I’m laughing so hard, I can’t even talk!”
Here is an airport and airplanes I built for a fictional island called Mommies. It’s in the Western Ocean right next to the island of Jokey. There are 1086 airports on Mommies.
Airplanes, duh:
Airships & blimps:
Spaceships!
Spaceships going through these tunnel thingies to get to the moon or another planet:
Papa gave me a drone for my fourth birthday, which I managed to break pretty quickly. So we got a remote control airplane and I was piloting like a champion!
But as the storm clouds rolled in, I pushed my plane further and further. After one too many crashes in the blackberry bushes, my trusty friend could fly no more. RIP, Twin Explorer. May you fly with the drone in heaven.
My school returned to the Lee Farms pumpkin patch this year.
We went on a walking tour of the farm, which included cows, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and, of course, pumpkins.
I won’t go on playground slides by myself yet, but I had no problem with this one. I guess playground slides are just too small for me!
Mommy helped me put pictures I took of my Lego airplane onto different backgrounds!
