JOURNEYING BACK HOME

Before leaving to go home, I had to tackle this gigantic slice of watermelon.

At McCarran Airport, I told Nana and Papa what gate we were leaving from.

I took this picture of our plane!

When it was time to board, I got to talk to Capt. Henry. He invited me to sit in the First Officer’s seat, but nope, I was not going to do that. Then he showed me a button I could push and that’s when I was outta there!

I did draw a picture for him and First Officer Richard, though. I got to give it to them on the way out.

HIGH ROLLING AGAIN

I started off the day discovering the most amazing thing about Minecraft – you can build a roller coaster!!!

Then I found some toothpicks and used them to make letters.

And then I went on the High Roller again! It’s kind of like a huge ferris wheel and was one of my favorite things to do when I visited Nana and Papa last year.

TOWN SQUARE

It was another sunny day, so we went to another park in the middle of the Town Square Mall.

I rode a unicorn…

…And baked Mommy a cake.

I also did some hula hooping.

My favorite, though, was the train! (Aka the “Cactus Coaster.”)

CONTAINER PARK

It was a beautiful day, so we headed to Container Park in downtown Las Vegas. It has a cool treehouse with three long, curvy slides!

There is also a big open space with building blocks, a bench swing, and what I called the yellow area.

The most interesting thing was this BUTTON. I couldn’t decide if I should push it…

Such a tough decision!

But then I just couldn’t help myself!

Bye, Container Park! You were fun to play in!

WINDY CITY

Today, I planned on going to the pool. But it was such a windy day, I decided to skip it and hang out instead.

I went for a walk around the neighborhood to search for Endermite food. (Endermite is a character in Minecraft.)

I had to fight the wind!

And then Daddy had to fight the wind!

Afterwards, Nana wanted to take a family portrait of me, Mommy, and Daddy.

And then I wanted to take a family portrait, too.

THE ADVENTUREDOME

On my first morning in Henderson, Papa told me about his days as a fingerprint analyst and showed me fingerprints on the computer.

Then we looked at my fingerprints through a magnifying loupe.

Afterwards, we got to do the thing I was super excited for – The Adventuredome at Circus Circus. I LOVED IT.

Here’s a little video of me having the time of my life.

LAS VEGAS VIA SAN FRANCISCO

I’m off to visit Nana and Papa in Henderson, and I got to do it with a layover in San Francisco! Dreams really do come true.

Early on, I got right to the business of drawing airplanes.

While descending towards SFO, we had a neighbor from United Airlines.

We didn’t have much time in SFO for exploring, but I did get to play some tunes on this wooden xylophone before boarding our connecting flight.

On our second flight, I read “Ms. Bindergarten Gets Ready For Kindergarten” to Daddy.

Here are some wing photos I took while on our flights.

G-TUBE CHECKUP

It was time for my annual g-tube checkup at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. It had been so long since my last visit there!

I knew this would be an easy checkup, so I was actually really excited and played with all of the toys in the waiting area.

Then I just waited for the doctor to come in. (In case you’re wondering, I had already received quite a few compliments on my pants.)

Then, of course, I went on the tram. It’s tradition.
