I went out to the backyard and found special ingredients for a magical potion.

On our final day visiting Kenji, we went to Volunteer Park. First, I explored the playground on my own.
Then Kenji and I went climbing on stuff.
And we found my favorite playground thing – the swings!
Aunt Lisa even took a secret family photo of us!
Me, Mommy, and Daddy did a quick weekend trip up to Kenji’s house in Seattle. When we got there, Kenji was napping, so I took a long walk around the neighborhood.
By the time we got back, I was VERY tired.
But Kenji was awake! I gave him one of my syringes and extension sets because he likes playing with them in the water.
Then I showed him the joys of Minecraft.
Mommy gave him an octopus t-shirt she made and he strutted around like a real runway model.
And Daddy played blanket jail with him. Kenji’s a real goofball.
I wanted Mommy to take a picture of me playing Minecraft and post it to my blog.
I went to a kindergarten open house to learn all about kindergarten next year.
I visited one of the kindergarten classrooms with a bunch of other kids, but my favorite place is the gym!
Cedaroak Park Primary is in the middle of their on-going morning talent show, so there was a piano and microphone I liked playing with.
For Mother’s Day, we went to a nursery to get a tomato plant and some flowers that I wanted. (I chose lavender and an African daisy!)
Mommy sometimes makes the mistake of asking me to pose for a picture.
I was too tired to take a picture at the nursery, so I said we could take a picture outside the library after we returned a book. Still too tired!
She did love the gift I gave her, though. I painted the pot and planted the seeds. They’re growing quite nicely! (There’s also a bonus clay alien, too.)
And I made her these Mother’s Day cards!
My school friend, Addison, had a birthday party at Wunderland Nickel Arcade. It took me a little time to warm up to the music and lights, but once I found the motorcycle race, I was all in!
Here’s some of the art that I made at school in March and April. The themes were spring and space!
I am in the car with Mommy and Daddy, driving through rural towns on the way to Lincoln City. There are lots of farms, fruit trees, horses, cows, and sheep.
Me: It looks like Minecraft out here.
I’ve been wanting to go to Lincoln City for a while now – and we finally did it! It’s a small town on the Oregon coast and I got to navigate the way there.
I initially wanted to wade in the ocean, but it’s still so cold there, I opted for kite flying instead.
In fact, it was so chilly, I had to do a wardrobe change and put on my winter jacket.
I’ve become quite the kite flyer since my first time two years ago.
I also liked climbing on driftwood and digging in the sand!
