Yesterday, we went to the Oregon Zoo. I’m not exactly…a fan of animals. They kind of scare me. But I was super brave and went anyway.
And rode on a train and a carousel!

Went to the ol’ airport again, just for fun, to go watch planes.
We saw a buuuuunch of them. But some of the highlights:

Today was the eclipse! From our deck in West Linn, Oregon, we had 99.2% obscuration. Not bad!

We also watched the eclipse watchers down at the park behind our house. This was at totality, which means the sun is super strong! Even with 99.2% obscuration, it didn’t get that dark.

We went to the Oregon City library to pick up eclipse glasses. And while we were there, I went on the big kid swings – for the first time! I also played in the splash pad, even though my swim suit was at home from all the swimming I’ve been doing lately.

The pool I’ve been frequenting is in this ‘hood.

Yesterday, I went up to Portland to play with Eliwen at the Mt. Scott Community Center. We also played with her friend, Yui, and a mystery girl who hung out with us. We played with a huge tennis ball and made crafts. Any guess what I made?

Because my four days a week of LEGO building get-togethers aren’t enough, I went to “LEGO Build-A-Thon” at the Oregon City Public Library, hosted by LEGO Master Builder, Blair Archer.
Eliwen came, too!

Yesterday, we went to the Tualatin Crawfish Festival. I didn’t care much for crawfish, but I was really excited to get an airplane painted on my hand!

Another Portland library started hosting a weekly Legos @ The Library event. So of course, I had to go! This library even had LEGO books on display for inspiration.
Now every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday on my calendar is full of LEGO. (Not that I’m the type to have obsessions or anything…)

While on vacation, I hijacked Mommy’s camera and took a number of pictures. Here are some of them. #nofilter
I call this series: ROOSEVELT ISLAND TRAM

And this series is called: WINGTIPS ACROSS AMERICA
