I went to the Sellwood Library again for Legos @ The Library and made a Minecraft village!
My new school principal, Mrs. Leonard, invited us to a popsicle night at the playground. I met two boys – Raleigh and Cameron – who will be going to kindergarten in the fall, too.
The playground is really big and kind of scary, but I was able to manage this climbing thing all by myself!
I also liked this tetherball pole.
After about an hour, though, I was ready to run home and go to bed!
After a fun drive on the streets of Portland, we celebrated America’s independence by walking to a quaint little coffee shop called Starbucks.
I brought LEGOs for everyone!
While Daddy was goofing around, I was getting serious building my string cheese and LEGO creation.
My favorite build was a Minecraft animal pen with pigs and horses.
Then we flew home in our imaginary airplanes!
I visited the playground of my future school to see what it was all about.
They have a tetherball pole…
…a GaGa Ball pit…
…and a big ol’ play structure.
I was really interested in this tree because Minecraft got me into trees!
One thing I learned is that the fir cones make my hands very sticky!
Also, there were a million bees.
It’s been a long time since I did LEGOs @ the Library in Portland, but I wanted to make my triumphant return! I have a few more planned this summer before school starts.
For Mommy’s birthday, I took her out to my favorite place – Oaks, of course!
We tilted and whirled…
…flew a hot air balloon…
…rode the wild ocean…
…and went on a ride we’d never been on – the Rock-O-Plane!
Oh, yeah, and I continued to fantasize about the day I’m 48 inches tall and get to ride Adrenaline Peak!
I went to Ayaka’s house to play and saw her new baby brother, Akira. He’s so tiny!
Then I strung some beads with Ayaka.
I also jumped on her new trampoline.
And we started a band!
For Daddy’s birthday, we went to a Portland Pickles baseball game!
We sat out in the left field berm, and I got to watch the players practice before the game.
I also drew some goat milk fields while we waited for the game to start.
Then the game started and Daddy showed me what everyone was doing.
The best thing about being out in the berm is that you can run around and play during the game.
I also liked wandering around the park. This hill was fun to climb up.
And these cinderblocks were fun to step on.
I also played a little game of cornhole.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Portland Pickles game without getting some pickles on a stick!
And, yippee, the Pickles WON!
And here’s the card I made him, too!
I went to Oliver’s house and he showed me a bunch of cool things to do in Minecraft, like teleport to the End City and the Woodland Mansion.
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and arrived on Grandpa’s birthday.
I was already asleep by then, but the next day, we went to Lake Oswego to look at apartments. They’re thinking about living here for part of the year!
Then they took me to a toy store in Portland called Hammer and Jacks. I got to pick out this awesome marble run.
At night, we gave Grandpa his present. I was especially excited for him to read his card because I think it’s the funniest thing ever.
