While the back of our house has been undergoing surgery, Daddy temporarily moved his office upstairs. So I get to see him even more!

I like to sing the Beach Boys song, “Kokomo.”
All. The. Time.
So I decided to record it into Daddy’s phone.
Because of the ice storm that hit West Linn, we were out of power for 5 days!
We did stuff like eat cheese quesadillas in the dark…
…And play with water and syringes in the sink.
I hung out with Fluffy, who just happens to glow different colors.
We also had to go buy stuff sometimes. We parked our car across the street and found all sorts of obstacles getting there.
One of the things we bought was an inverter to hook up to our car battery. I waited patiently in this cardboard box while Mommy and Daddy hooked it up.
After the inverter was hooked up, we had enough electricity to charge our computer!
We didn’t have internet, but I found this awesome dinosaur game that showed up on any Chrome page without internet.
On what turned out to be our last night without power, we drove to Oregon City and ate delicious hot pizza in our warm car.
Sunnie is starting to become more comfortable in our house, including doings things Finley used to never let her do – like hide in the Ripple Rug.
She’s even started to play with toys. She loves string the best!
I’ve been busy making cardboard cat trees for the kitties to share. This is a work in progress. (Designed by me; constructed by Mommy.)
They love to watch Cat TV together.
And Finley loves the “knead” cycle on the bread machine!
I draw. A LOT. On paper. And on my face.
All of a sudden, the cats started fighting a whole bunch and Sunnie spent her days hiding under the bed again.
We think it’s because Mommy cleaned the living room and it was too big and spacious. So we re-filled it with boxes, baskets, and a puzzle feeder and now they’re (almost) friends again.
