Grandma sent me this kit so I can grow my very own herbs. As I like to do, I’m growing them at my own pace. I’ve started with thyme and will plant the rest in the next few days. Thanks, Grandma!

I’ve been working on being more okay with music. I really don’t like it. But after school, I’ve been forcing myself to listen to it a little bit in the car. Maybe I’ll understand the hype one day.

I’m happiest when my self-imposed torture has ended.

Instead of going to bed, I am reminiscing about all of the amazing Lego creations I made earlier in the day.
Me: I will build Legos until I’m 1053 trillion 1053 quadrillion 1053 years old.
Drawing is a “no pants” activity.

Too busy building to care that Daddy put a box on my head.

Mommy is trying to get me to bed, but I have important things on my mind.
Me: How many zeroes are in a quadrillion?
(Long pause.)
Mommy: Mmm…I think there are 12.
Me: No!!! That’s a trillion.
Mommy is thinking really, really hard.
Mommy: Huh, yeah, you’re right.
Mommy and Daddy…went out to dinner by themselves.
Miss Christine, her husband Tom, and two sons, Reid and Eric, played with me at their house.
I’m still absorbing the idea that Mommy and Daddy would do something without me, but…Miss Christine had Legos! And her family is really nice.
