I’m pretty sure I impressed Nana and Papa with m’ singing pipes.
Born to Sing from the Dexter Video Collection.
As it got closer to Nana and Papa’s departure, I had to start shedding the clothing layers. (Shhh…don’t tell them, but as soon as they left, the undies came off, too.)

Mommy chose a peach cobbler for her birthday treat, but we got a li’l symbolic birthday cake for the candles. Each candle represents a decade!

I am trying to eat a Fig Bar (Fig Newton-like snack) and am getting crumbs all over my clothes.
Me: Oh no! I’m getting gluten everywhere!
Over the weekend, we went out into the 99 degree heat to fly the Skyrocopter that Grandpa got me a while back. It was so hot, we were the only weirdos outside. But when you gotta fly, you gotta fly!

We’re in the middle of a Portland-area heat wave, so we went to a splash pad yesterday…with a view of the tram! Can you spot it?

Then when we got home, Papa made me laugh with his funny faces.

Nana and Papa are in town to celebrate the Daddy/Auntie Lisa/Mommy birthday extravaganza. Soooo…of course…I convinced them to take me to Bricks and Minifigs.

Then my excitement about being in my favorite store on earth switched to the disappointment in knowing I couldn’t take every set home with me.

But then I got the fire helicopter and all was good in the world again. Thanks, Nana and Papa!

In honor of the birthday boy – Daddy! – we went out to eat at a sushi restaurant.

All restaurants should have conveyer belts that bring food past your table.

I’m starting to warm up to this whole “wearing underwear / not being totally nudie” thing.

For Father’s Day, we went to the Oswego Hills Vineyard & Winery down the road from our house. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

But after a couple of glasses, I had to cast a disapproving look…

Just kidding, Daddy! Happy Father’s Day!
