LACMA

Yesterday, Andy and I went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. First, we played in the “spaghetti” and chased each other around the plaza. Then we headed over to the Boone Children’s Gallery to learn the art of East Asian brush painting. I painted several masterpieces. (Oh, and I tried some of Andy’s gummy bears!)

WATER TABLE: THE RETURN

The last time I had any interest in my water table was, oh, I don’t know, about a year ago. But all of a sudden, it’s wonderful again! I asked Mom to fill up the water bottle about a hundred times so I could dump it in my table. (Sometimes I even made it all the way to the water table; other times, I dumped it all over the kitchen floor.)

THINGS THAT GO MONTH

July at school was “Things That Go” Month! It was my favorite month ever! In fact, now that it’s over, I’ve decided I don’t really like going to school anymore. It’s a bummer. Anyway…here’s some of my art.

BEACH MORNING

Yesterday morning, we had an impromptu beach outing. I had so much fun, I didn’t want to leave. Like, I really, really didn’t want to leave. It was a scene.

BONUS POST: POTTY TIME! EXCELLENT!

When Mom and Dad put a potty in my bathroom a few months ago, I wanted nothing to do with it. Frankly, it freaked me out! But as time went on, and with a little help from the book “Potty” by Leslie Patricelli, I began warming up to it.

A few weeks ago, I started sitting on my potty in return for a sticker on my Potty Chart, and the promise that after filling a row with stickers, I would get a new car! And cars did I indeed get.

Well tonight, ladies and gentleman, I actually (drumroll please) p-p-peed in my potty! Holla! (Mom and Dad gave me a brand new school bus for that one. I am cashing in big time!)
