Yesterday, we made our way up to a neighborhood called St. John’s. I think it was my favorite part of Portland I’ve seen so far. Or maybe the nap I took in the car on the way up just put me in a good mood.

Hey! Who’s that handsome fella???

A boy can’t even take a lay down on the couch without his mother taking a picture. Sheesh.

This is my curb. I like to sit on it and hang out.

Yesterday, we headed up to Milwaukie, Oregon on a warm, sunny day. We checked out a little cafe and walked around Main Street. We even found a cool soda fountain, but I wouldn’t let Mommy take my picture there because the ceiling fans were freakin’ me out.

I haven’t been in an art mood lately, but I suddenly wanted to paint the other day. So Mommy got out the paints and this new thing called glitter. Judging from the shiny gold dust that’s permanently all over our floors, that may not be happening again.

Did I forget my pants again??

I am playing cars with Mommy at the dinner table.
Me: Heart [the pink car from Tayo] needs a new engine. I give her a new engine.
Mommy: Oh, I think she needs a new battery, too.
Me: And she needs wiper fluid. And maybe some oil.
Mommy: You know, I think she may need a new catalytic converter, too.
Me: Oh no! She ran out of money!
