TRI-CITY DUST DEVILS

While we were in Pasco for the Country Mercantile fair, we went to see a Tri-City Dust Devils game because they’re the High-A affilitiate for the Angels. (This was Daddy’s gift for driving us to Pasco.)

My favorite part, though, was the bouncy house they had. I even met two girls in there who were the daughters of the General Manager.

COUNTRY MERCANTILE

We drove all the way to Pasco, WA to get a super rare coaster credit. Twice a year, a farm store called Country Mercantile hosts a fair that includes this coaster. Fun fact: it traveled across the country from the Palisades Center, Daddy’s childhood mall!

TUMWATER HISTORICAL PARK

After leaving Kenji’s house to go home, I first wanted to stop at a playground I saw on Google Maps. I rode a couple of absolutely epic slides and then we stopped at a lunch spot, where I made it known how I feel about photos.

RIVER CANYON RUN

River Canyon Run is my favorite water slide at the Great Wolf Lodge. You sit on a raft with up to four other people and go whooshing down a big slide before landing in a pool. I was really afraid the first time I rode it, but grew to love it. I especially love riding it with Kenji!

KENJI’S 6th BIRTHDAY (DAY ONE)

For Kenji’s 6th birthday, he had a party at the Great Wolf Lodge!!! That’s one of my absolute all-time favorite places.

They have an arcade, which I looooooooove.

They have a wave pool, which Kenji loooooooooves.

And there are lots of activities, like…storytime…

…exploring the Moonstone Mine…

…and finding gemstones at Oliver’s Mining Company. Stay tuned for Day 2!

CLARK COUNTY FAIR

This is the face of a kid who is really excited for the Clark County Fair!!!

It was all I hoped it would be and more!

There were a lot of fun rides I tried, but…

…easily the best ride there was the roller coaster called The Zillerator! I rode it 10 TIMES!

MIDDLE-OF-NOWHERE, WASHINGTON

We’re on a road trip to Idaho! But first, we have to get through eastern Washington. We found a rest stop with cows.

And, best of all, I found a tiny town called Finley! Of course, we had to stop and check it out.

Also, Snapchat filters come in really handy when you’re on a long drive!

EAST FORK LEWIS RIVER

We drove to Battle Ground, WA to have a socially distanced river outing with some of Mommy’s friends and their kids.

I decided I didn’t want to go floating in the river after all (so cold!), but I did use our raft as a couch while I had a snack.

The East Fork Lewis River is really cool. I drive over it every time I go to Kenji’s house! While wading in it, I saw tadpoles, river snails, and caddisfly larvae!

HOOD RIVER, OR

We crossed the Hood River Bridge to visit…Hood River!

I waded in the Columbia River at the Hood River Waterfront Park.

It was over 90 degrees, so we took breaks in our sun shade and laughed at something I can’t remember on Daddy’s phone.

After a day at the river beach, it was time to head back to our cabin. But I wanted to climb this cool dirt hill first!

I also mastered climbing the ladder that goes to the loft in our cabin!
