BOB’S JAVA JIVE

On our long drive from Vancouver BC to home, we continued our quest to stop at roadside attractions. This one was Bob’s Java Jive, which we thought was a coffee shop, but it looked more like a bar inside. But it was cool that we were inside a giant coffee pot!

DRIVING TO VANCOUVER, BC

We’re driving to Canada! I’ll be logging my first new country. Don’t worry, I have my passport!

We found the remains of a huge cedar tree at a rest stop. And we ate at a cool drive-in burger place. (Finding our food stops is one of my favorite things to do.)

TRI-CITY DUST DEVILS

While we were in Pasco for the Country Mercantile fair, we went to see a Tri-City Dust Devils game because they’re the High-A affilitiate for the Angels. (This was Daddy’s gift for driving us to Pasco.)

My favorite part, though, was the bouncy house they had. I even met two girls in there who were the daughters of the General Manager.

COUNTRY MERCANTILE

We drove all the way to Pasco, WA to get a super rare coaster credit. Twice a year, a farm store called Country Mercantile hosts a fair that includes this coaster. Fun fact: it traveled across the country from the Palisades Center, Daddy’s childhood mall!

TUMWATER HISTORICAL PARK

After leaving Kenji’s house to go home, I first wanted to stop at a playground I saw on Google Maps. I rode a couple of absolutely epic slides and then we stopped at a lunch spot, where I made it known how I feel about photos.
