MONTSHIRE MUSEUM
I spent the afternoon at the Montshire Museum of Science, where I’ve been once before. But this time, I did all new things.
I got to make a bubble wall…
…and a bubble dome.
I watched air bubbles float up through liquids of different viscosity.
And slid pennies down this huge funnel.
I got to put my hand through fog…
…and put balls through this maze of air tunnels!
SNOW DAYS ARE LAZY DAYS
It was snowy and icy outside, which was my excuse for the perfect day of lounging around.
Grandma and I had a “draw off,” which will become our new evening tradition while I’m here.
KING ARTHUR FLOUR
A place I requested we go to was King Arthur Flour in Vermont. It’s tradition!
It’s not Thanksgiving yet, but they were already set up for Christmas.
SNOWMEN AND SLEDDING
On our first full day in New Hampshire, it snowed!
It was cold and slushy and I managed to stay outside for about ten minutes, but I packed a lot in. Like making tiny snowmen with Grandpa.
And sledding down Winter Hill Road. I wonder why they call it Winter Hill. Hmmmmm…
IN THE AIR AGAIN
It had been longer than usual since I’d been on on airplane, so it was time to hit the air again!
This time, I took my very first red eye to visit Grandma and Grandpa in New Hampshire. I get very excited when I see the list of departures.
Then we waited for the TSA escort that helps us get all my liquids through.
I did a lot of the usual…hanging out on the people mover…
…going to the play area…
…trying to avoid Mommy when she asked me to pose by this statue.
We took off at 10:45pm and it didn’t take me too long to fall asleep.
But I did wake up in time to take this picture as we approached Boston Logan International Airport.
I wasn’t done sleeping, though. I got in a few more winks on the bus ride to New Hampshire. My first red eye flight was a success!
KENJI’S FIRST THANKSGIVING
We spent Thanksgiving with my baby cousin, Kenji! Uncle Ryan made dinner and Aunt Lisa fed Kenji a lot. And I played with planes. So, all in all, a success!
THANKSGIVING 2015
Yesterday was Thanksgiving! Nana and Papa dropped by in the morning. Then we went to the park, where I showed all the kids my awesome new superhero jacket. After Thanksgiving dinner (I did not allow any pictures), we watched an excellent episode of Tayo The Little Bus. Sounds like a pretty great Thanksgiving to me.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I celebrated my very first Thanksgiving with dad’s family in Rancho Mirage. (I even tried mashed potatoes for the first time, which were…disgusting.)
