ENCHANTED FOREST & PORTLAND MAVERICKS

We went down to Salem, Oregon to enjoy rides at Enchanted Forest AND watch a Portland Mavericks baseball game!

We didn’t finish all the rides at Enchanted Forest yet, but the Mavericks were starting their game, so we had to go.

The coolest part of the game was that one of the players gave me a ball!

Of course, then we had to go BACK to Enchanted Forest to ride more rides!

Here’s a view of Mommy and I on the roller coaster, Ice Mountain Bobsled. It was a busy, but great day!

PORTLAND MAVERICKS

The Portland Mavericks are playing their first independent league baseball season since 1977. So we drove down to Salem to see them play the Salem Senators.

Like we did when we watched the Portland Pickles, we sat in my favorite area of the stadium – the berm!

There were a lot less people watching the Mavericks, though. We almost had the stadium to ourselves!

It’s fun to be able to see the players up close.

We just happened to see Sean Kiley play as the starting pitcher. He’s the son of one of Mommy’s old Conan co-workers. He pitched great and left with the team leading. Unfortunately, the Mavericks ended up losing. Maybe we’ll see them win next time!

ENCHANTED FOREST

Mommy and I went to the Enchanted Forest near Salem, Oregon.

It started with Storybook Lane, which had weird things to go in and pass through.

But then we found the rides, which is what I really cared about. One of my favorites was the Bumper Boats.

I also liked the Tiny Tune Train.

But my very favorite was the Ice Mountain Bobsled Roller Coaster!
