Mommy just found this picture on her phone from our time in New Hampshire last June!

Right before we left for home, we got to quickly see Cousins Beth and Allie, who had just arrived in New Hampshire the night before! And then we headed off to Logan International Airport to make our way home.
Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa, for a fun trip!

It was our last full day in New Hampshire, so we took Pi to the dog park and I pretended to be a dog, too. Then we went to the lake and I took a little dip. The water was even warmer than our heated pool in Oregon.

In the morning, Grandma and Grandpa’s friends, Gene and Maureen, came by to say “hi.” I showed them my cars and the new contraption Uncle Mike and I were working on (a catapult!).
Then we went to a restaurant in White River Junction, VT to officially celebrate Grandma and Grandpa’s 50th wedding anniversary. And after, we got to see a train leave the station!

We visited Sugarbush Farm yesterday in Woodstock, VT. Everyone else enjoyed the animals, and the cheese and maple syrup tasting, but I was pretty unimpressed…until I found the sandbox with trucks!
Afterwards, we went for ice cream (I ordered the “baby” size, which was about the size of an actual 6 pound baby) and I made Tinkertoy contraptions with Uncle Mike. Then it was time to wind down with some good ol’ reliable Tayo videos on Mommy’s phone. A fun day!

Yesterday was our first full day in New Hampshire, so I woke up super duper early and went out to the back patio to play…with cars! Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah made a pancake breakfast and I played with the awesome tow truck that Grandpa got me.
Later, we went to a restaurant to celebrate Mommy and Daddy’s birthdays, but I didn’t allow any paparazzi, so you’ll just have to imagine it.

Yesterday was our last day in New Hampshire. It rained in the morning, so I stayed in and played with Duplo blocks and my cars. Then we went to King Arthur Flour, where I tried (and am pretty sure I liked) a maple flavored lollipop. Then I went to Left Bank Books on the Dartmouth campus where I immediately found their stash of cars!
Bye, New Hampshire! Bye, Grandma and Grandpa!

We went back to the beach! This time, I wasn’t as interested in going in the water. But Grandpa showed me how to use my fishing reel on his boat and I played with my cars in the sand. Uncle Mike and Auntie Sarah joined us, too, and Uncle Mike pretended to be a sea monster.
Also, we went out to eat for breakfast and dinner. Not only was I amazingly well-behaved, but I also nibbled on some fruit, Grandma’s pickles, Mommy’s home fries, and Auntie Sarah’s maple syrup. Plus, I succeeded in sucking on a straw for the very first time! I’m not totally sure how I did that, but I’ll work on it again today.

Wow, what a day in Grantham! We went to the lake and I loooved playing in the water. We got to see Grandpa’s new boat. I helped Grandma vacuum, played in my new red car, and nibbled on some pizza! What will tomorrow bring?

Sometimes mom takes pictures with her iPhone and posts them to Instagram. Since some of my loyal followers don’t use Instagram, I figured I’d post a few here from our east coast trip:
Playing with Michelle’s hands at Brooklyn Bridge Park / Asleep after an afternoon of park play

Asleep on Uncle Mike’s childhood bed / Sitting by the deck in Rockland

The beach at Eastman Lake / Hiding behind the curtains in my bedroom in New Hampshire

Dad and mom kayaking while I took a nap

Coloring on the airplane / In the airport in LA after a long journey
