Yesterday, I made my way to Mark Twain Middle School for the third and final time to meet up with my IEP team and discuss what services I’d be offered in preschool. I got what they jokingly called the “Gold Star” package: speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and Adaptive PE. Apparently, it’s unusual to receive this many services. I guess I’ll have my hands full for the next two years! As Mommy said… “Yay?”

MARK TWAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL
Yesterday, I went back to Mark Twain Middle School for my school health assessment. I was marked down asĀ “Not Cooperative.” Sorry, nurses! That’s my speciality!
IEP ASSESSMENT
Yesterday, I had my IEP (Individualized Education Program) assessment at Mark Twain Middle School. This will determine what kind of services I will get once I start preschool. The test took two and a half hours and was administered by a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and psychologist. And I knocked it out of the park! I was very accommodating and friendly and did everything that was asked of me. Mommy was very proud. :)
