KIDSQUEST CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

I went up to Seattle to visit cousin Kenji and we went to KidsQuest Children’s Museum!

My favorite thing there was this huge climbing structure. This is the very bottom of it.

Daddy helped me climb the ropes up this big tube.

Kenji went up with Uncle Ryan and into this cage before heading to the very top.

This is the rope tube that leads to the top.

And here’s the top! It’s even higher than the second floor of the museum.

I also liked this sign that pointed to cities with funny names.

And this water room where I got to wear this awesome smock.

EASTER 2018

Kenji visited our house on Easter weekend and one of our favorite things to do was color eggs.

Kenji really liked the egg dye and got his hands so messy, he had to go inside to clean up. So I continued on my own.

I got my hands very colorful, too!

Kenji could barely stand watching me have all the fun by myself through the window…

…so he came back for Round Two!

Whew! That was some hard work, but we walked away with some very cool eggs.

After Kenji had a bath, he had some fun coloring with my old baby crayons and pushing around the stroller. It was fun having you here, Taylor gang!

WHITE CHRISTMAS

Kenji and I set a world speed record in present-opening after we finished what felt like the world’s slowest breakfast. Must grown-ups really eat breakfast on Christmas morning???

After we were done, Kenji and I decided to stand up on our boxes and scream.

Kenji liked all of his gifts, but I think the packing material was his favorite.

While Kenji napped, I opened up my new Playmobile airplane and got to some serious playing.

Also, we had snow! So I made the world’s tiniest snowman.

CHRISTMAS EVE 2017

We headed up to Kenji’s house on Christmas Eve. The first order of business was to check out the presents.

Then I joined the boys in watching something riveting on TV. (I think it was either “The Polar Express” or “The Smurfs,” and in both cases, I had no idea what was going on.)

Chubs liked watching us eat dinner.

After Uncle Ryan’s delicious dinner (the soba was my favorite!), I did some drawing.

Meanwhile, Kenji wondered if his Uncle Eric actually tied poop bags around his arms.

Later, while the grown-ups were busy, I did a little babysitting until it was time to go to bed before Christmas.

AFTER PARTY

Today we left Seattle to come back home, but enjoyed a little morning time with Kenji.

Kenji is my favorite cousin, so I gave him a little kiss.

Kenji really liked his birthday balloons!

Bye, Kenji. See you again soon!

THE TAYLOR’S VISIT

The Taylor gang visited yesterday! Cousin Kenji is four months old now and very different from the last time I saw him.

Thank you, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ryan, for making the long trek with a baby (Mommy and Daddy tell me it’s not easy!) and for the super cozy blanket.

And thank you, Nana and Papa, for coming and taking care of Chubs during my surgery and making lots and lots of food for all of us!
