HALLOWEEN 2020

We celebrated a socially distanced Halloween this year!

First, we carved pumpkins and Sunnie was very curious about this ritual.

We also made a sign for our candy table.

I dressed up as an orange tabby, like Sunnie! Meow!

We didn’t knock on doors this year, but our town did a lot of candy tables, bowls, and chutes.

How awesome is this black cat pumpkin someone painted?

Despite the unusual Halloween, I still brought in a big candy haul! My favorites were Sour Patch Kids and Kit Kats.

HALLOWEEN 2019

For Halloween this year, I dressed up as my classmate, Maddie! I made my costume myself, sticking flowers to my clothes and creating a “blankie dress” (Mommy helped with the safety pins.)

First, I went trick-or-treating at my neighbor, Suzi’s, house.

This house was so scary, I ended up not even ringing the doorbell. I just got outta there!

This one was much better.

Once again, my pumpkin bucket was so full, I could hardly carry it by the end. Another successful candy grab!

HALLOWEEN 2018

This Halloween, I made my own costume! (With a little of Mommy’s help.)

Here I present to you Pom Pom Galore Teacup Win Cookie Monster III. (Known casually as Pom Pom Monster.)

In the morning, I had my school Halloween party and got to tell the class what I was dressed as.

Then we had our annual Halloween parade around the neighborhood.

We also decorated the pumpkins we picked on our pumpkin patch field trip.

When it was finally nighttime, I got to go Trick-or-Treating!

Pleeeeease don’t tell me there’s a ghost behind me.

Mommy wanted me to pose on this creepy hill, but I refused. So Daddy went up and pretended he was…a zombie?

After a successful evening (my whole candy bucket got filled!), we headed home.

And I inspected my loot!

POP! POP! HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween! I started off my day with a costume parade at school.

Then it was time to decorate the pumpkin I picked out at Lee Farms.

I helped sing a Halloween song during Circle Time.

And then I decorated my Halloween cookie.

After school, I counted down the hours until evening and trick-or-treating time.

Mom and I came to an agreement that I would be cooperative for one picture (and even wear my popcorn hat), but that she had to leave the camera at home for the rest of the night.

Arghh, I forgot Daddy had his phone camera with him!

When trick-or-treating was done, I immediately got to work on drawing my own custom candy wrappers. And I gave Mommy my candy rejects. (Tootsie Rolls and gum…I’m looking at you!)

Here are some Halloween drawings I made earlier. Happy Halloween!

HALLOWEEN 2016

Halloween! I loooooove it!

I started off the day with a Halloween party at my school. We had a costume parade outside (I was a fighter pilot!) and then we decorated pumpkins and cookies.

Then I went trick-or-treating with Daddy and people gave me candy! When I got home, I counted me haul (40 candies!) and I sampled some Skittles, Junior Mints, bubble gum, a lollipop, and my trusty ol’ Snickers. What a day!

TRAIN ENGINEER

Chugga chugga choo choo! Here comes the train engineer!

Yesterday, I went trick-or-treating with my school. We piled into the Bye Bye Buggy and traveled to the office park across the street. All the businesses there were waiting for us with candy! My favorites are the lollipops and CHOCOLATE! Before I took my nap, I made it very clear to Mommy that I didn’t want her eating any of my chocolate.

All my best friends were wearing their costumes, too. Pablo was a cowboy, Mia was Batman, Carissa was Robin, Ricky was Mickey Mouse, George was a butterfly, and Victoria was The Little Mermaid. It was Victoria’s last day of school. Have fun at your new school, Victoria!
