Grandma and Grandpa visited Portland, so, of course, we went to St. Honoré! As new Oregon residents, Nana and Papa came, too.
The next day, we showed Grandma and Grandpa the Bob’s Red Mill store and I found Bob.

We flew across the country for our annual trip to New Hampshire to visit Grandma and Grandpa!
After some rest from our red eye flight, we visited Grandpa’s HAM radio club and I got to learn a little bit about how it works.
I waded in Eastman Lake while Grandpa and Daddy drove the boat.
And, oh look! I convinced everyone to go to Six Flags New England, where I got four new coaster credits! I also met another coaster enthusiast in line for Thunderbolt, and it was really fun to talk to him.
There was a cool train track in Vermont.
Of course, I had my annual trip to a bookstore where I relaxed on the stairs. In fact, we went to two bookstores this year where I relaxed on the stairs!
We went out for pizza one night by the Contoocook River and walked over this cool covered bridge.
Would you like to watch a video of my adventures? Here you go!
I spent the afternoon at the Montshire Museum of Science, where I’ve been once before. But this time, I did all new things.
I got to make a bubble wall…
…and a bubble dome.
I watched air bubbles float up through liquids of different viscosity.
And slid pennies down this huge funnel.
I got to put my hand through fog…
…and put balls through this maze of air tunnels!
It was snowy and icy outside, which was my excuse for the perfect day of lounging around.
Grandma and I had a “draw off,” which will become our new evening tradition while I’m here.
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and arrived on Grandpa’s birthday.
I was already asleep by then, but the next day, we went to Lake Oswego to look at apartments. They’re thinking about living here for part of the year!
Then they took me to a toy store in Portland called Hammer and Jacks. I got to pick out this awesome marble run.
At night, we gave Grandpa his present. I was especially excited for him to read his card because I think it’s the funniest thing ever.
On our final day in New Hampshire, we went out to breakfast and Hugs had a great time frolicking outside.
After breakfast, we went out to the lake.
I got all geared up for a big outing on the inflatable kayak. I named the boat Chillo. I named Grandpa’s other kayaks Lenny and Dottie.
After Mommy, Daddy, and I all went out, Grandpa took it for a spin, too.
When we got back home, Grandma read me a story as we began to wind down for our trip back to Portland.
We headed toward the Atlantic Ocean on a little road trip to Portsmouth, NH. I had to take Hugs because she loves long rides!
We walked the streets and I sat on them, too.
Because Daddy can’t leave a small town without visiting their bookstore, we ended up in RiverRun Bookstore where I found a cool map of Portsmouth.
Today we walked down through the forest to the edge of Grandma and Grandpa’s property, where a kayak was waiting for us.
I was all outfitted and ready to go!
First I went with Mommy…
…then with Daddy. I helped both of them paddle.
When we were finished kayaking, I helped Grandma make brownies. My job was to stir the batter 50 times!
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit me! And I pulled all the stops to bring nice, sunny weather here for them.
First, we walked the streets of Lake Oswego to go to our favorite French bakery and Grandma’s favorite florist.
Then we drove all the way up to Vancouver, WA and got to see airplanes at Pearson Field.
After, we headed to an ice cream place. Grandma and I didn’t get any, so it was my opportunity to chat with her about decaf coffee.
Vancouver has so many outdoor murals.
I really wanted to see the Vancouver Land Bridge (another pedestrian bridge to check off the list). But we had to walk pretty far from Fort Vancouver to see it.
We were really close to Pearson Field, so there was some good airplane spotting.
I don’t remember what I was talking about here, but you can bet it was pretty good.
And then Daddy tried to put me in a cannon. It was a good day!
On my first full day in Grantham, I went kayaking for the first time! We packed the sand bucket, monster truck, and toy boat for the beach, but once I got in the kayak, it’s all I wanted to do.
We also went out to eat a couple of times. This is me and Uncle Mike during breakfast.
And here’s me and Grandma relaxing before dinner.
