We had a big errand day and after a while, I just needed a break! So we stopped off at a coffee shop called the Venice Grind. I loved it! I had a snack and then cruised all around the big wooden bench, checking out the action on Venice Boulevard.

Yesterday, the whole Ludwig gang had a relaxing and fun Saturday. We went to Tanner’s Coffee Shop, then Pulp Fiction bookstore (where I got a new Superman book!), I played with my cups out on the balcony, and then the brand new computer tablet dad bought me. What will Sunday bring??

Yesterday was my last lesson at the Lenny K Swim Academy. (Don’t worry! We joined the YMCA, so I will be resuming my aquatic adventures there.)
Thank you, Miguel! You were the best teacher ever!

Yesterday, I sat on the surfboard for the first time. It’ll probably just be another month or so before I’m hangin’ ten.

Friday was Uncle Mike’s birthday, so yesterday we celebrated by going to the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium!

Yesterday was the Jets’ first game of the season. And we won!
Dexter McDougle is my favorite player on the team, but he got injured and is out for the whole season! Bummer! Are there any other Dexters on the team?

Yesterday, we went to a friend’s Labor Day BBQ. I was really good. I ate all my dinner, practiced my walking on the lawn, and met lots of people with almost no crying. Yay, me!

A Magic Forest from the Dexter Video Collection.
The greatness of the water table has died down a bit, but I still spend approximately one minute a day with it.

In addition to the Venice Canals, we also hit Venice Beach. I posed next to Arnold Schwarzenegger, the tallest man to ever live, apparently. I’m a little speck next to him! Then we went to the ocean again! My favorite place on earth!
