Thank you, Auntie Lisa and Uncle Ryan, for the book of bedtime stories! It’s the actual book that Papa read to Mom and Auntie Lisa when they were little kids.
We read the story, “Eric’s Breakfast.” Turns out…Dad’s name is Eric. (Mind blown.)

Yesterday, my friends Crystal and Chris visited and gave me birthday gifts! (I’ll be showcasing their presents, as well as the other ones I got, in the weeks to come.) After opening presents, we went to Fisherman’s Village in Marina Del Rey, where a little seal was swimming around!

Yesterday was my 2nd birthday celebration! Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Papa all came out to visit. And Uncle Mike, Auntie Sarah, and of course, Mom, Dad and Chubs were there, too.
First, we had brunch at Marie Callender’s, my favorite restaurant to happily scream in. Then we went home to open presents and eat sandwiches and cake! (Well, everyone else ate sandwiches and cake. I ate prunes!)
Thank you, everyone, for the gifts and for celebrating with me!

This is what we look like on the very first day of 2015! And this is what we looked like on the very first day of 2014.

Here we are waiting for mom to set up the camera.

Before Bedtime from the Dexter Video Collection.
I get to see a lot of dad lately because he’s working from home this week!

Long weekends are the best because I get to see more of dad!

Yesterday, we went to Griffith Park to search for a tree that people call The Giving Tree. And we found it! Unlike the Shel Silverstein book, it’s still a whole tree and not just a stump.

Yesterday morning, I got to open a whole bunch of presents! I’ll be showing more of them to you in the days to come, but here you see the puzzles that my cousins, The Isabel’s, got me. Also the colored pencils and train set mom and dad got me, as well as the chalkboard Nana and Papa got me. Thanks, everyone!

Last night, we lit the eighth candle!
