It was Daddy’s birthday yesterday!

Yesterday was Father’s Day, and I got to spend it with Daddy and Papa!

Then at home, I played hide and seek with Nana and Papa.

Nana and Papa are here on the first leg of their west coast tour. And I was expecting a present and they delivered! I am now the proud engineer of a wooden railway system (where cars are also welcome, of course.)

I was forced away from my train set for a little while to go outside and take a walk to the new townhouse. Outside, I saw my neighborhood friend, Anthony.

And then Anthony took this picture of us!

Here’s the common area behind the townhouse, which had some great mole hills.

Yesterday, we went to Portland to visit our friends, Austin and Amber. We ate at a Peruvian restaurant, which was super boring. But then Amber played cars with me and that was super fun! Then once we went outside, I didn’t want to leave. It was a really nice day and I wanted to play with cars more!

The apartment complex we live in has a swimming pool!

Jamison Square from the Dexter Video Collection.
Wow, this weekend is a scorcher. So yesterday, we went to the Jamison Square fountain to cool off. But first I fell asleep in the car on the way. But after, I ate ice cream! And I liked it!

Yesterday, we took Chubs to Mary S. Young Dog Park to celebrate his 7th anniversary as a Hardy Ludwig. He had a great time meeting other dogs, resting in the sun, resting in the shade, and getting out into the world for the first time since his surgery. You should check out his blog post, too!

Before we left, I had a little fall down. But after half an hour of iPad playing and yogurt eating, I went back to the scene of the crime and nailed it.

Mommy isn’t the only person who takes pictures around here. I grabbed her camera and took these!

Yesterday for Sunday brunch, we went to St. Honoré Boulangerie, one of the first places in Oregon I’d ever been to, more than two years ago.

I am not as cooperative with pictures anymore, though, and try to thwart all of Mommy’s attempts!

How do you like the footwear I chose for our outing?

Yesterday, we made our way up to a neighborhood called St. John’s. I think it was my favorite part of Portland I’ve seen so far. Or maybe the nap I took in the car on the way up just put me in a good mood.
