Long weekends are the best because I get to see more of dad!
Yesterday, we went to Griffith Park to search for a tree that people call The Giving Tree. And we found it! Unlike the Shel Silverstein book, it’s still a whole tree and not just a stump.
I am Chubs’ tortilla chip provider.
When you’re a seasoned traveler like myself, you know all the best places to take a break. On the way to Arizona, we stopped off at the Cactus City Rest Stop to eat some lunch. And on the way back, I drove the Silver Stallion through a gas station in Quartzsite for some cheap Arizona gas.
Yesterday, we went to the Anthem Community Park and rode on my first tiny train. Then we went to Prescott Valley to visit Papa Murphy’s and Nana and Papa’s new house. I gathered quite a collection of rocks and leaves!
Last year, I spent Thanksgiving with the Ludwig gang in Palm Springs. This year, I’m in Arizona to visit Nana and Papa. I keep hearing that it snows in some places for Thanksgiving, but I’ll believe it when I see it!
I spent the day riding my brand new trike, playing with toys, and watching YouTube videos with dad and Chubs!
Mom had her annual photo shoot yesterday with Cassandra and her mom. So dad, Chubs, and I tagged along. We went to the beach and visited a big ol’ Christmas tree.
After my fever went away, everything was totally hunky dory. We thought that maybe I successfully evaded further illness.
But no.
Days later, it hit me. Coughing, runny nose, general ickiness. So tired.
