Nana and Papa got me an Advent house to count down the days to Christmas.
I made a little improvement to the interior…
Here are the goodies that I got!

My dentist had a winter scene set up for pictures, because everyone wants a photo from the dentist, yeah?
With Christmas and Hanukkah happening at the same time this year, the world is raining down presents! (And I’m totally okay with that.) I started the morning by just diving right in.
After a while, I decided I wanted to open presents in the kitchen…
Opening a ton of awesome presents is HARD WORK.
Chubs got a couple of presents, too. But he was most interested in the rare Oregon sunbeam.
Then at sundown, we lit the firetruck menorah. (Remember when I liked firetrucks??)
Thank you, everyone, for all of the planes, plane books, plane stickers, plane paraphernalia, and money to buy more planes! You know me well.
Yesterday was Christmas and I started right off with opening presents! I got lots of awesome stuff, like Frank and Pat from Tayo, magnetic car blocks, a remote control fire truck, construction vehicles, books, chocolate, plates & utensils, and cold hard cash. Thanks, everybody!
Then I headed out to the balcony to play with my cars and munch on chocolate chip cookies because it was a beautiful day.
In the afternoon, Uncle Mike came over and I showed him how to mold cars out of sand. Always remember to sweep up after you play with sand cars, ‘kay? Then it was time for bed because life was too exciting to take a nap.
There was no way I was going to pose for a holiday card like I did last year and the year before. But I still wish everyone a Merry Christmas!
Yesterday morning, I got to open a whole bunch of presents! I’ll be showing more of them to you in the days to come, but here you see the puzzles that my cousins, The Isabel’s, got me. Also the colored pencils and train set mom and dad got me, as well as the chalkboard Nana and Papa got me. Thanks, everyone!
I’ve been back in Los Angeles for a few days now after a whirlwind of toy playing in Arizona. All play and no naps makes Dexy a tired boy.
Happy new year, everyone!
Nana read me my brand new book, “Where Is My Bellybutton?”
Auntie Lisa got me this monster hat. So far, it has stayed on my head for a record 3 seconds because I keep yanking it off. And mom and dad also keep stealing it from me!
