PRE-K GRADUATION

I am officially a graduate of Cherry Hills Preschool!

My Pre-K class had an ice cream party to celebrate. Here I am on the swings with Haroon, Auden, and Wesley.

This is one of my favorite places to go during recess. I call it “the upper level.”

For our last circle time, Ms. Tami asked if anyone had a song they wanted to sing. I said “The Bumblebee Song!”

I love this song and laugh at lots of the parts.

After the party was done, Johnny, Haroon, Auden, and I played with the bubbles that came as part of our gift from the teachers.

Here are my final pieces of school art.

And here’s a video of my last goodbye song at Cherry Hills. Next fall, it’s Cedaroak Park Primary School!

HALLOWEEN 2018

This Halloween, I made my own costume! (With a little of Mommy’s help.)

Here I present to you Pom Pom Galore Teacup Win Cookie Monster III. (Known casually as Pom Pom Monster.)

In the morning, I had my school Halloween party and got to tell the class what I was dressed as.

Then we had our annual Halloween parade around the neighborhood.

We also decorated the pumpkins we picked on our pumpkin patch field trip.

When it was finally nighttime, I got to go Trick-or-Treating!

Pleeeeease don’t tell me there’s a ghost behind me.

Mommy wanted me to pose on this creepy hill, but I refused. So Daddy went up and pretended he was…a zombie?

After a successful evening (my whole candy bucket got filled!), we headed home.

And I inspected my loot!

LEE FARMS III

For the third year in a row, I went to Lee Farms with my school for our fall field trip. You can check out my last two years here and here.

As a pumpkin patch veteran, I prepared myself for the tour.

It was a gloriously damp day and I had lots of fun jumping in puddles.

I learned that these greenish pumpkins are the best for making pumpkin pie.

Then, for some reason, we were all drawn to tap this big inflatable pumpkin.

In years past, the animals were my least favorite part of the tour. I’ve never been a fan of farms or zoos. But this year, I was actually kind of interested. There were baby cows…

…horses…

…and goats. This mama goat gave me the staredown.

And this little baby goat crawled down his ramp all the way home.

The chickens were stinky.

And finally, it was time to get down to the business of picking out a pumpkin.

Thanks, Lee Farms, for another fun day!

HASTA LA VISTA, PRESCHOOL

Today was the last day of preschool!

It was basically a day of playing on these swings for the last time until September.

When the donuts, fruit, and popcorn were doled out, I passed on it and delighted in having the swings all to myself.

Freedom! (Until September…back to Cherry Hills for one more year.)
