One of my favorite things to do is just hang out in the car for a snack after school or therapy. And then I discovered that the seat reclines… #nevergoinghome
THINGS I SAY #64
Me: Daddy, I want to play!
Daddy: Okay, what do you want to play?
Me: I want to play “work the air conditioner!”
OREGON CITY MUNICIPAL ELEVATOR
Oregon City consists of two parts: the part at the bottom of the cliff and the part at the top of the cliff. If you’re on foot, to get from one part to the other, you need to take the elevator!
I’ve actually been really wanting to go on the elevator for a while now. So we finally went! I rode up and down a whole bunch of times and made friends with the elevator operators. They even let me push the button several times.
If you’re not a fan of elevators, you can take the stairs. The choice. Is. Yours.
THINGS I SAY #63
Mommy is making bagels and cream cheese for both of us. She puts tomato on hers and asks me if I want any.
Me: I read an article last night that said tomatoes are yucky.
CRAYOLA MASTERPIECES #8
Lately, I’ve been adding clouds to my airplane pictures.
I’m also super obsessed with maps. So I made my own.
My favorite countries lately are Russia, Australia, Iceland, and Madagascar. And Hawaii, of course! (Mommy sometimes has to remind me that Hawaii is a state, not a country.)
MAD SCIENTIST
I was kind of bored the other day, so I looked deep into the playroom and found this science kit Nana and Papa got me for my birthday.
As is my style, I ignored the instructions and started mixing things however I wanted. I made acidic and basic liquids of different colors and remembered that they were the same colors we got on the pH paper we used back when I had an NG tube.
When Mommy asked to get a photo with the scientist, I gave her this pose. You’re welcome, Mommy.
BACK TO THE GRIND
Yesterday was my first day of school and my first day back with Miss Christine.
Here I am, resting after my full day, in Miss Christine’s yard for an end-of-summer picnic.
LAZY DAY
DEXY AIRLINES
The factory is open. Currently taking orders.
EASY RIDER
The bike Grandma and Grandpa got for me is still just a wee too big. So Miss Danni loaned me this one and I’m having fun riding it all over the house. Next up: riding my big bike outside with a helmet!
