This is just some of the fun Kenji, Sakura, and I had during their summer visit!
GETTING OUTSIDE
We never have a Kenji visit without going to Midhill Park.
And then Sakura finally made friends with Finley. She loves the kitties and really wanted to be able to pet and walk Finley.
DEFY TRAMPOLINE PARK
We got our wiggles out at the Defy Trampoline Park, where there are loads of trampolines, slides, and things to jump off of!
GARDENER SAKURA
Sakura is a natural gardener. She planted a bunch of lettuce, cilantro, and radishes!
SCHOOL PLAYGROUND W/ KENJI & SAKURA
I wanted to show Kenji and Sakura the Cedaroak playground, and we all had a fun time at my stomping grounds.
INFLATABLE SLIDE W/ KENJI & SAKURA
Kenji and Sakura are here! We blew up the big inflatable slide I got for my birthday and had tons of fun on it.
Then we had dinner outside, which I love doing when we have guests.
CLARK COUNTY FAIR 2023
I went to the Clark County Fair again because I absolutely love their Zillerator roller coaster and their Freakout pendulum ride.
But I also got lassoed by a super tall cowboy??
STUCK IN DENVER
We were really ready to get home after a long trip east. But our flight had different plans for us. Our first flight was delayed and we missed our connecting flight. So we got to spend a night in Denver!
NEW YORK CITY DAY
Before heading back home, we spent one final day going to a bunch of different places in New York, including riding the Staten Island Ferry, visiting the Mysterious Bookshop, and walking The High Line park.
CONEY ISLAND
We went to the the world famous Coney Island! It took, like, an hour on the subway, but I love the subway, so no problem. Plus, I was super duper crazy excited.

I rode The Phoenix!
Daddy had a Nathan’s hot dog for lunch, OF COURSE.
And, of course, the subway back to the hotel.
