EASTSIDERS

Nana and Papa made a visit our way and we took them across the Willamette River to the east side of Portland. Our first stop was a restaurant called the Tin Shed, where we had to wait a long time, even though it was a Thursday.

Then we went to the playground at Laurelhurst Park.

Before heading home, we stopped to see the ducks at the Laurelhurst Duck Pond.

By the end of the day, Chubs was ready for a nap!

MASTERPIECES: MISCELLANEOUS EDITION

I haven’t been drawing many monsters lately. Just an assortment of different stuff.

Here is an airplane flying through a rain storm:

This is an airplane parked at the gate with a jetway connected to it from the terminal:

Hugs going down slides at her favorite slide park in Mommies:

Poop Mom, because…why not?

A rescue helicopter with its ladder down, ready to rescue someone:

THINGS I SAY #73

It’s the morning and we’re about to have breakfast.

Daddy: Dex, do you know where the coffee scooper is? I couldn’t find it last night.

Me: Yeah, I put it in the freezer.

A little bit later…

Daddy: Sharon, I can’t find Chubs’ medicine.

Me: That’s because I put it in the spice drawer!

JUNE BIRTHDAY OUTING

Mommy and Daddy’s birthdays are both in June, so we all went out for a little birthday adventure.

First, we headed to BG’s Food Cartel for some lunch.

Then we went to the Portland neighborhood, St. John’s. I’ve been wanting to cross the St. John’s Bridge for a long time!

Then it was off to Cathedral Park for some bridge gazing and drawing.

Chubs had a nice time, too. His favorite thing to do is sleep in the grass when it’s warm out.
