DISNEYLAND

I went to Disneyland for the very first time and it was the best thing ever!

It’s a Small World was my first ride. I’m the one in the red raincoat, my uniform for the day.

Then it was time to run through the rain to the next ride…

…Dumbo the Flying Elephant. One of my favorites, I rode it three times.

Then it was off to Mickey’s Toontown to ride my very first roller coaster, Gadget’s Go Coaster.

I was very excited.

But then…they closed it for technical difficulties right before I could get on. My first roller coaster would have to wait.

So I went to Minnie’s house to meet Minnie Mouse!

I asked her if she remembered my friend, Elle, from school. And she said yes!

Then it was off to Finding Nemo’s Submarine Voyage…

…and Star Tours, where I got to wear cool 3D glasses.

I was still waiting to ride my first roller coaster. So I just took the plunge and made it Space Mountain! I took it like a champ.

Then dreams came true when the ride I was most excited about finally opened up after being temporarily closed because of the rain – Mad Tea Party!

Before the night was done, I also rode on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Peter Pan’s Flight, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh.

Then I finally said goodnight, soaked and tired.

Here’s the ticket to my first trip to Disneyland!

VISITING THE CONAN OFFICES

It was another rainy day, so Mommy decided we would go visit her old workplace on the Warner Bros. lot.

As you can see, I was so excited to be there. Mommy literally couldn’t have thought of a more boring thing to do. Her friend, Jason, was very nice, though. And the truck I was laying on top of came from Tracy’s awesome office of toys.

Conan wasn’t in the office yet, but I did see lots of pictures of him.

Then it was time to go. I couldn’t escape fast enough.

RAINY DAY WANDERINGS

It was super rainy in Los Angeles, so the plans we had fell through.

So it’s a good thing that I love nothing more than wandering around buildings and checking everything out. While Daddy worked, Mommy and I took the elevator to every floor in our North Hollywood hotel and explored.

I saw this weird end of a hallway and wanted Mommy to take a picture of me there.

This is a mural that was in the parking garage.

BIRTHDAY AFTER PARTY

On the day after my birthday, I was feeling a bit better – well enough to visit Tongva Park and its awesome roller slide!

It also had this cool rock climbing thing.

And another great set of slides.

There was also this spinny thing where I practiced for the Mad Tea Party ride I want to go on at Disneyland.

Mommy and I climbed up this yellow thing.

And Aunt Sarah took a picture of us so that we’d have an actual family photo!

SICKS(TH) BIRTHDAY

We celebrated my 6th birthday in Los Angeles with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah. But I was still sick! So we had a nice, low-key celebration.

First, on the way to breakfast, we drove on CA-90 just like I wanted to. It was the road I was most excited for!

Then, back at the apartment we’re staying at, Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah hid my birthday presents and I went on a search for them.

And I found one!

And I found the other one! Thank you for the gifts, Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah!

Then it was time to rest because I was pooped.

But a birthday wouldn’t be a birthday without a celebratory cake. As requested, I had three candles. (I never want the candles to match my age. It’s just a thing.)

JOURNEY TO LOS ANGELES

On the day before my birthday, I flew to Los Angeles! Did you know I love everything about airports??

And I was extra excited because it was my first time on Southwest Airlines! (I’ve also been on Alaska, JetBlue, Delta, and Virgin America.)

Once we got flying, I got busy drawing airplanes.

And in Burbank, you get to exit at the rear of the plane and walk down the stairs. My first time!

LEGO CLUB DAY

It had been a while since I went to LEGO Club with Daddy, but I really wanted to build Elle Beach in Mommies.

And I like getting to put my creation on the shelf!

Elle Beach includes the Love Elle Suites & Inn, a truck, and a seaplane.

NEW YEAR’S DAY 2019

For New Year’s Day, we headed to the big city. (That’s Portland.)

Mommy and Daddy always want to go to coffee shops. I liked this one, though, because we got to sit at the bar and watch people make coffee.

Then we walked around a little and saw the longest train ever! All in all, a quality day.
