I crawl up the 20-step staircase to explore the second floor of our apartment building.

I used to like only the swings at the playground and absolutely nothing else. But I suddenly changed my mind.

A week ago, I had my very first fever. And it triggered my very first (and hopefully last) febrile seizure. Dad left work to help mom bring me to the doctor. And, boy, was I exhausted from all that excitement. But the next day, I was back to playing with all of my toys and yelling at the cars on our street. Didn’t miss a beat.

Yesterday was my first time in the pool as a new YMCA member. I still got it!

I just attended my first wedding.
Auntie Lisa, yours is next!

Next week I start speech therapy (Triple Crown!), so yesterday I had my hearing tested.
I scored perfectly. I mean, I can hear dad’s keys jingling outside the door before he walks in. Come on!

The last time I had to crawl the tunnel, I wasn’t a big fan. But this time, oh yes, it was good.

Sometimes it’s just nice to have an easy, fun park day. No fuss, no muss.

Yesterday was Chubs’ very favorite day of the year – Pugtoberfest. It’s a day where a bunch of pugs get together and wear costumes (except for Chubs who refuses because he’s his own man). I had more fun than I did last year because a) I didn’t have any sweet potatoes to fight the pugs over and b) mom and dad didn’t even try to put me in a costume (which they did last year and it didn’t go well…they learn quickly).
By the way, thanks, Stephanie, for the awesome doggie shirt!
