We went on a quest to find the two Little Free Libraries in our neighborhood. And we found them! They are seriously little. And they had some really cool books, though maybe a little old for me. I don’t think I’m quite ready for Edgar Allan Poe.

Andy’s sister, Nicholena, turned one year old and I went to her birthday party yesterday. I played with a ball and searched for rocks with Andy!
Andy turned three years old a couple weeks ago, so I made them both birthday cards. Thank you to Sebastian’s Mom and Dad for the stickers!

I’m the Mayor of my street.

My 30-month stats!
Length: 34 in (5th percentile)
Weight: 24 lbs 12 oz (0 percentile)
Head circumference: 49 cm (50th percentile)
Number of teeth: 16
Favorite food: Trader Joe’s organic whole milk plain yogurt (don’t give me any other kind!)
Favorite toy: All of my cars and trucks. I can’t choose a favorite.
Favorite book: Cars and Trucks and Things That Go by Richard Scarry
Words I say: Way too many now to count. But I recently started saying “and,” so now I can make big compound sentences. (For example: White car here and blue car gone.)
Stuff I can do: Recognize numbers, upper case letters, shapes, and colors; say the alphabet, count to 20, sing “Wheels on the Bus” (a thousand times a day!), and pretend to sneeze (ah-ah-ah-choo!)
Compare with my last checkup!

For this month’s school field trip, we went to the Santa Monica Airport. I don’t care about airplanes, so I had more fun playing on the fire truck with Teacher April. Perhaps some day…

Yesterday, we went to the park with Uncle Mike and Auntie Sarah. They brought grapes that they got at the farmer’s market. And I bit into one!
Grape! from the Dexter Video Collection.
Yesterday, we went to a bookstore in Santa Monica called Books And Cookies. But it wasn’t just a bookstore. It had a whole backyard to play in! (Sidenote: there were a lot of books, but strangely, no cookies…)
Thank you to Sebastian’s mom for suggesting we go there!

Yesterday, I went to the Los Angeles Arboretum with my old friend, Sebastian! He shared some of his cracker snack with me and I tasted it!

We swam in our friend Sonia’s pool and met a cool 5-year-old named Kenyon. He could swim and do cannonballs!

My best friend, Andy, and I went to a place called Pump It Up and played with all of their big toys. Andy just turned three and graduated from my school, so now I only get to see him on the weekends. :(
