Buried in the basement of a Methodist church in Tigard, Oregon is a magical place full of cars (and other toys, but who cares about those?) called the Tigard Indoor Play Park. It was no-frills amazingness.

Then we went home for lunch, after which I announced I wanted to go to the OTHER indoor playground that Mommy had mentioned. So we went to another magical car-filled land called Kids Unplugged.

The indoor playgrounds were super fun, but I still love my outdoor playground. Mommy had a lot of laundry to do when I was done! By the way, thanks to Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah for the cool shirt. It took me a while to fit into it, but I’m finally big enough!

Guess who made a surprise appearance in Portland yesterday? Auntie Lisa! (As well as Uncle Ryan and their friends, Tristin and Kelsey). We went to a restaurant in Northeast Portland called Tin Shed and then, after announcing I was “SO TIRED,” I wandered the streets while Mommy and Daddy tried to get me back in the car.

Yesterday, I met my new pediatrician, Dr. Cooley. She was a nice lady, but I still made sure to make a dramatic exit by screaming, angrily opening the door of the exam room, tearing off my sweatshirt, and swiftly marching down the hall with no shoes. Then, when asked if I’d like a sticker, replying “NOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
(She is setting me up with a developmental pediatrician, neurologist, and place at the feeding clinic, so Mommy was happy.)
Then we went to the park, even though it was cold and rainy. I was promised the park, and gosh darn it, I was going!

Mommy and Daddy have been looking at houses (we JUST moved…do they realize that???) and my favorites are the ones with big yards! I need a yard!

And the award for Best Grocery Store in Oregon goes to…Haggen’s! They have a whole fleet of car carts to choose from, making both Mommy and I happy during our shopping trip.

I found the best store ever! It’s called Coin Corner and Hobbies in Oregon City. I spent almost three hours playing with cars, cars, and more cars!

Yesterday, we left the suburbs and headed into Portland. Mostly, we just drove around to check out different neighborhoods. But we had to stop off at a famous Portland food cart pod! I even left my mark on one of the picnic tables.

Our new apartment complex has lots of quiet, empty areas where I can spend hours playing with cars. No noises or people to bother me. I think I’m meant to live in a cabin in the woods.
