I’m learning my geography around here now. So when Mommy says we’re going to Home Depot in Oregon City, I know we’re right by the hobby shop. And I’m much more cooperative at Home Depot if I’m promised the hobby shop afterwards.

We saw our friends Austin and Amber again, and I approve of them. Amber likes to play with me and she thinks cars and trains are cool.

Yesterday was the 18th Annual Big Truck Day at the Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center. There was a fire truck, dump truck, excavator, tractor, crane and more. And they were pretty cool. But mostly, I just loved playing with my own cars at the park and finding a surprise splash pad for an impromptu run in the water!

After the pancake breakfast the other day, we went to Ace Hardware and I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

Yesterday, we went to the Portland neighborhood of Hillsdale for their 40th Annual Blueberry Pancake Breakfast and Book Sale. As soon as we parked, I wanted to head over there quick because there was a fire truck on display! Then we had pancakes (well, I had yummy delicious syrup), and we bought a few books. (And then I napped hard in the car.)

I have a dislike for the library that only I understand. But when Mommy and Daddy needed to pick up some books, I went back to the kid’s section and, well, yeah okay, the train set is fun.

Spinner Thing from the Dexter Video Collection.
Yesterday, I had my first outing with a Portland group of kids who meet weekly for crafts and outdoorsy fun. We made maracas out of plastic bottles and then hiked up Mt. Tabor (a volcano!) to the playground. (And when I say “hiked,” I mean that Mommy carried me the whole way.) I had so much fun! I even slept with my maraca last night.

Mommy and I needed Teacher Katie to fill out some paperwork so I can get on the waiting list for a developmental pediatrician. And while we were there, I found a tiny dirt mound, one of life’s greatest pleasures.

We headed up to Walker Field last night to cheer on the Portland Pickles. It was my very first baseball game! We sat on the Grass Berm along the left field line. And the Pickles came through, sweeping the Marysville Gold Sox. Go, Pickles!
