While the Taylor gang was here, we visited Nana and Papa at their house!
Papa took Kenji and I to the driving range and putting green.
Then Kenji went on a walk with Mommy and climbed trees. He is a true dare devil!

I went on a field trip to the Oregon Children’s Theater to watch Dragons Love Tacos with my class (AGAIN!). Those sussy boys next to me are Gavin and James.
The green slide is my very favorite slide at school. It’s insane!
Kenji and I celebrated my 10th birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge!!!
There was so much to do there. First, we hit the arcade.
Then we went into the Moonstone Mine and discovered gemstones with a sluice.
Then we went to the waterpark, OF COURSE.
And there were so many other things! A dance party, arts and crafts, gigantic desserts, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and a magical scavenger hunt called MagiQuest.
It was so freaking fun! I can’t wait to do it again.
We like picking up food at Oregon City Brewing Company, which we’ve gotten in the habit of calling “Corner 15.” It’s filled with food carts and all outdoors, so it can get cold while we wait for our food! Thankfully, they have FIRE.
Cayah’s birthday wish was to go up to Mt. Hood and hike to Trillium Lake. So we did! I’d never done anything like that and it was both super fun and tiring. We did a lot of sledding, ate snacks on the trail, and made it back to the car in the dark. What an adventure!
As is our annual tradition, we cut down our tree at the Shannon U-Cut Tree Farm.
First, I pick out the perfect tree.
Then, Daddy does the actual cutting.
He also gets to carry it to the car.
Finally, I put the money in the box. Done!
In science this year, we raised salmon from little eggs to alevins to fry. Then it was time to release them into the Willamette River. All of us 3rd graders walked down to the boat dock to let our fry swim free.
I named my fry Salish. I sure hope she makes it to the Pacific Ocean!
This is my 3rd grade class! My teacher, Mr. Jones, is taking the picture.
And here are allll of the 3rd graders!
After leaving Kenji’s house to go home, I first wanted to stop at a playground I saw on Google Maps. I rode a couple of absolutely epic slides and then we stopped at a lunch spot, where I made it known how I feel about photos.
We spent Thanksgiving with the Taylor gang! A really fun thing we did was make gingerbread houses.
Of course, Kenji and I did a lot of gaming.
And we also just had loads of other kinds of fun because we love having fun!
Finally, enjoy a video of us having the best time ever on a deflating air mattress!
