REMOTE CONTROL AIRPLANE

Papa gave me a drone for my fourth birthday, which I managed to break pretty quickly. So we got a remote control airplane and I was piloting like a champion!

But as the storm clouds rolled in, I pushed my plane further and further. After one too many crashes in the blackberry bushes, my trusty friend could fly no more. RIP, Twin Explorer. May you fly with the drone in heaven.

SCHOOL FIELD TRIP

My school returned to the Lee Farms pumpkin patch this year.

We went on a walking tour of the farm, which included cows, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and, of course, pumpkins.

I won’t go on playground slides by myself yet, but I had no problem with this one. I guess playground slides are just too small for me!

OREGON CITY MUNICIPAL ELEVATOR

Oregon City consists of two parts: the part at the bottom of the cliff and the part at the top of the cliff. If you’re on foot, to get from one part to the other, you need to take the elevator!

I’ve actually been really wanting to go on the elevator for a while now. So we finally went! I rode up and down a whole bunch of times and made friends with the elevator operators. They even let me push the button several times.

If you’re not a fan of elevators, you can take the stairs. The choice. Is. Yours.

TIN SHED

We went up to Portland yesterday to peruse neighborhoods for when we maybe one day possibly move there.

While we were there, we had lunch at the Tin Shed, where we met up with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ryan last year.

I was super excited to fly there like an airplane!

But then we waited. A long time. For a table.

But Chubs was really happy because he loves coming out with us!

KIDNEY VISIT

I went back to Doernbecher to visit my nephrologist for a routine follow-up. Everything looks good! I’ll go back in six months to visit the gang.

Then I got to the important work of taking the tram! I was so excited, I had to run the whole way there.
