DRAGONS LOVE TACOS

On Valentine’s Day, my kindergarten class got in a big school bus…

…went to the Newmark Theatre in downtown Portland…

…and saw the play, Dragons Love Tacos!

This is what the stage looked like.

This is what we looked like while we waited for everyone to get seated. It was kind of boring.

This is what me and Mommy looked like.

And after the play was over, we got to look out at Broadway while we waited to go back to our bus. (I’m the one in the blue comfy coat because, of course I am.)

LEGO CLUB: AMUSEMENT PARK

After a bit of a hiatus, I returned to LEGO Club with Daddy! I even saw my classmates, Milo and Henry, there.

No surprise, I built an amusement park. Blair, the Master Builder who runs the program, gave me a suggestion to add hinges and supports to my roller coaster track. I took his suggestion and it turned out awesome!

OPEN HOUSE – VIEW DR.

Every time we go to an open house, I plan out where the rides will be in my backyard amusement park.

Here is the location for Kingdom Drop:

This shed is the location for the small roller coaster, Eleanor’s Coats:

And here is where Flower Loop will go:

NEW YEARS DAY 2020

For New Years Day, we took a little jaunt to Oregon City.

At Black Ink Coffee, we built a bunch of little LEGO creations.

Then we walked to the record store so Daddy could ask someone about getting his record player fixed.

And then I tried to avoid Mommy’s camera, as usual.

PLAYING WITH KENJI & HANUKKAH NIGHT 7

Kenji and I spent the morning playing at home with everything in my playroom.

Eventually, Kenji found a spray water bottle. We had way too much fun spraying water into a bowl.

Then we went to the playground and had loads of fun.

In the evening, we celebrated the 7th night of Hanukkah.

Kenji got stickers and I got a book and another subway train – the F train!

ROUTINE OHSU VISIT

I had a routine visit with my gastroenterologist and realized this wooden bead toy in the waiting area looks just like a roller coaster!

We were also visited by Groot and Captain America in the lobby!

CHRISTMAS TREE HUNTING

One of our traditions is to find the rainiest day of the month and then go get our Christmas tree. It makes the mission extra special.

I located the best tree on the farm and sent Daddy to work cutting it down.

I also found this cool tree that I could stand under.

After we put the tree in the car, I noticed the farm map!

So then, despite it getting dark quickly, I had to walk all around looking for the douglas, grand, noble, and nordmann firs. I even found a few scotch pines!
