Daddy had to go to Portland to buy a new judo gi, so we all went! Then I chose the coffee shop Anna Bannannas to hang out at after.

After I go to a new amusement park, I like to update the list of rides I’ve ridden into a Google spreadsheet. Sakura was very interested! Maybe a future coaster enthusiast?

Then Kenji and I played around in the comfiness of his bed.

Hmm, it seems like we do that a lot! (Flashback to 2017!)

It was nice to see you, Sakura! You’ve grown so big in the last year!

Kenji and I went to Wild Waves Theme and Water Park! I was sooooo excited!!! The first ride I went on was The Wild Thing roller coaster. It had a vertical loop and two corkscrews. It was great, and also my first Arrow Corkscrew.

Then I went on Timberhawk: Ride of Prey, an S&S Sansei wooden coaster. It was so fun, I went on it 3 times. It’s my new favorite coaster!

Here’s Mommy and I riding in the front row before our first ride.

Here’s a video of my off-ride reaction!
After riding the 48″ and up rides, I found Kenji in the water park and he came with me to ride some more rides!

His first ride there was Kiddie Coaster, a Zamperla Tornado powered coaster, one of only four still operating in the world.

Then Kenji rode with Daddy on the ferris wheel.

We also went on what I believe is the worst carousel in the world.

But Frog Hopper was so fun!

So was Red Baron! I’m flying in the red bi-plane and Kenji is in the white one behind me.

That’s a wrap on Wild Waves. It’s my new favorite amusement park I’ve ever been to!

We all went up to Seattle to celebrate Sakura’s first birthday! Isn’t she so cute?

She likes to make this funny face a lot.

Papa bought Kenji and I cool matching t-shirts.

Time for cake!

She blew out her candle with a little bit of help.

Happy birthday, Sakura!

In honor of Father’s Day the next day, we went to St. HonorĂ© for dinner. We brought LEGOs to play with and I ordered my usual: a chocolate croissant.

I went to Oaks for the 3rd time this season! I rode Adrenaline Peak again!

I also did a game for the first time. I didn’t get any rings on the bottles. Back to rides!

I’m not quite ready for this one!

I got it in my mind that I really wanted to put my feet in the river. So we drove to Clackamette Park on a chilly spring day and I got my wish!

I went to Oaks again! As you can see, I am officially 48″ tall, which means I can go on a lot more rides.

And guess what??? I went on Adrenaline Peak! I was super scared, but super brave. It was my first inverting coaster (three inversions, actually!) and past vertical drop.

This is me on Adrenaline Peak! Who wants to go with me next time?
Another new one I can ride has become my very favorite: Disk-O! I went on it 3 times.

I also went on Rock and Roll…

…and an oldie but goodie, Chipper’s Choppers. Plus a bunch of others. It was an awesome day! I can’t wait to go again!

Today we said goodbye to the car I’ve spent most of my life riding in, affectionately known as “the gray car.” Thank you for safely getting me to where I needed to go.
