Kenji and Sakura are here! The weather is nice and we’re having lots of outdoor fun.
Papa built this swing stand!
I love getting covered in ants. Kenji and I spent a lot of time observing an ant colony we found under this paving stone.
After Nana’s birthday party, we went to the playground across the street and had a ton of fun. Buckle up, because you’re about to see lots of play time!
The green slide is my very favorite slide at school. It’s insane!
Kenji and I celebrated my 10th birthday at the Great Wolf Lodge!!!
There was so much to do there. First, we hit the arcade.
Then we went into the Moonstone Mine and discovered gemstones with a sluice.
Then we went to the waterpark, OF COURSE.
And there were so many other things! A dance party, arts and crafts, gigantic desserts, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and a magical scavenger hunt called MagiQuest.
It was so freaking fun! I can’t wait to do it again.
The snow and ice melted enough for the Taylor Gang to go home. We built some domino setups before they had to go. I had a super fun time, Kenji!
Kenji and Sakura were supposed to leave today, but it snowed and got really icy. So we got to keep them for an extra day!
It was another amazing day with Kenji and Sakura! We woke up early and hit the ground running.

We went to Nana and Papa’s house for an early Christmas celebration.
Then we went home and lit the candles for the fourth night of Hanukkah.
Kenji and Sakura are here! We have so much fun together. And we even got to celebrate the third night of Hanukkah with them!
After leaving Kenji’s house to go home, I first wanted to stop at a playground I saw on Google Maps. I rode a couple of absolutely epic slides and then we stopped at a lunch spot, where I made it known how I feel about photos.
