I’m home sick, and it’s a good thing I didn’t go to school because it was time to say goodbye to baby tooth #4.

It’s that time of year again…
Don’t let my sort of smiling face fool you. I can’t stand this place. It’s my very least favorite medical requirement. (I was kind of happy at this moment, though, because the hygienist was done with her horrible work and the dentist just does a quick look.)
Then I was FREEEEE! (No cavities!)
We went to St. Honoré on a super duper rainy day.
I ordered the chocolate croissant. Turns out I really like the croissant part, but not the chocolate. Go figure!
I started decorating the tree last night, but got in a few more ornaments as soon as I woke up this morning.
One of our traditions is to find the rainiest day of the month and then go get our Christmas tree. It makes the mission extra special.
I located the best tree on the farm and sent Daddy to work cutting it down.
I also found this cool tree that I could stand under.
After we put the tree in the car, I noticed the farm map!
So then, despite it getting dark quickly, I had to walk all around looking for the douglas, grand, noble, and nordmann firs. I even found a few scotch pines!
I took Mommy’s iPad and started drawing my fantasy subway map for Portland.
It was snowy and icy outside, which was my excuse for the perfect day of lounging around.
Grandma and I had a “draw off,” which will become our new evening tradition while I’m here.
We carved the pumpkins I got at the pumpkin patch! I sketched out their faces on paper so Mommy would know how to carve them.
This is a Teeter Popper, but I’ve repurposed it as lounge furniture.
