While I was in the hospital, Grandma flew in from New York to take care of Chubs. It was a big relief to Mommy and Daddy to know that Chubs was in good hands.
I also had fun talking about airplanes with her and looking at countries on my world map.

Yesterday, I went to the Evergreen Aviation Museum with Daddy and Grandpa! I saw sooooo many planes, including the Spruce Goose. One of my favorite things to do was sit in some airplane seats because passenger planes are my favorite! When I got home, I made my own LEGO version of the Spruce Goose.

Grandpa is here visiting and he loves airplanes just like me! I spent the morning showing him my whole fleet of planes. For most of the day, he and Daddy went through the house and fixed a bunch of stuff, so I went to the playground with Mommy. Then in the evening, Daddy and I started building a model airplane that Grandpa brought from New York. I’m the gluer!

It was our last full day in New Hampshire, so we took Pi to the dog park and I pretended to be a dog, too. Then we went to the lake and I took a little dip. The water was even warmer than our heated pool in Oregon.

In the morning, Grandma and Grandpa’s friends, Gene and Maureen, came by to say “hi.” I showed them my cars and the new contraption Uncle Mike and I were working on (a catapult!).
Then we went to a restaurant in White River Junction, VT to officially celebrate Grandma and Grandpa’s 50th wedding anniversary. And after, we got to see a train leave the station!

We visited Sugarbush Farm yesterday in Woodstock, VT. Everyone else enjoyed the animals, and the cheese and maple syrup tasting, but I was pretty unimpressed…until I found the sandbox with trucks!
Afterwards, we went for ice cream (I ordered the “baby” size, which was about the size of an actual 6 pound baby) and I made Tinkertoy contraptions with Uncle Mike. Then it was time to wind down with some good ol’ reliable Tayo videos on Mommy’s phone. A fun day!

Yesterday was our first full day in New Hampshire, so I woke up super duper early and went out to the back patio to play…with cars! Uncle Mike and Aunt Sarah made a pancake breakfast and I played with the awesome tow truck that Grandpa got me.
Later, we went to a restaurant to celebrate Mommy and Daddy’s birthdays, but I didn’t allow any paparazzi, so you’ll just have to imagine it.

For Grandma and Grandpa’s last day in Oregon, we headed to Southwest Portland and walked around the Multnomah Village area. There was a big toy store with an awesome train set (I’m starting to get into trains now!) and a bookstore Daddy likes. Grandma and Grandpa told me I could pick out any toy I wanted, so I headed over to the ol’ car section and chose a cool gray and orange Porsche 911. And they bought me four new books, too. Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!

Yesterday, we traveled east of Portland to the Columbia River Gorge and hiked at Bridal Veil Falls State Park. I got to see my very first waterfall! Then we went to the McMenamin’s Edgefield hotel to walk the grounds and eat some lunch. Chubs and I were sooo tired when we got home.

Grandma and Grandpa are visiting this weekend! I took Grandpa to the hobby shop and he agreed with me that it’s totally awesome. Oh and, yeah, he bought li’l ol’ me some cars. Thanks, Grandpa!
