I also decided I needed to work on a new piece. Here I am adding some cool color to my rocket ship bank.
A little while ago, I was really into drawing striped coats.
Now I’m into drawing them in outer space.
Mommy and I drove up to a Portland suburb called Hillsboro to paint pottery at a place called Color Me Mine. I had so much fun! I was definitely the giddiest, happiest, loudest person there. They will fire up my future ice cream bowl in a kiln and I can pick up the finished product in about a week. (As I already warned Mommy, I will also be painting another piece of pottery.)
I had such a good time, I didn’t want to go home right away. So I sat on this wall for a while.
And then put my hand in this fountain. It was 95 degrees out!
As you can probably see, airplane travel inspired my New Hampshire drawings.
Daddy and I have a running joke that he doesn’t like stripes, so all I do these days is draw coats with stripes on them, just to make him crazy. I don’t know why I love drawing coats so much. But I do.
I haven’t been drawing many monsters lately. Just an assortment of different stuff.
