PLANTING SEEDS

Yesterday, I hung out with some other kids in Portland to plant seeds in the wet and cold.

Here I am with my cup of dirt.

This is my official announcement of my soon-to-be cucumber and squash plants.

Then I walked back to our car in the pouring rain.

OMSI

I had some awesome Daddy and Me time at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry over the weekend. We went specifically to see the USS Blueback because I’ve become really interested in submarines.

Here I am steering this puppy!

The bunks are super small!

After our tour of the USS Blueback, we also saw a LEGO exhibit. And I found out I’m 98 LEGO bricks tall!

LATEST ARTWORK

I’ve started drawing actual things, instead of the abstract art of my past.

This one is a whole bunch of planes crashing into each other.

This one is what the world looked like “a long, long time ago,” followed by some writing.

This one is an airplane flying over Portland at night.

This one has lots of airplanes and lots of planet Earths.

This one is a whole bunch of space vehicles and satellites.

THE TAYLOR’S VISIT

The Taylor gang visited yesterday! Cousin Kenji is four months old now and very different from the last time I saw him.

Thank you, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Ryan, for making the long trek with a baby (Mommy and Daddy tell me it’s not easy!) and for the super cozy blanket.

And thank you, Nana and Papa, for coming and taking care of Chubs during my surgery and making lots and lots of food for all of us!
