Today, I found out that I will be in Mrs. Flagg’s kindergarten class! My first day is on Tuesday, Aug. 27th.
She sent me my first piece of homework, which I will give her on Thursday during the Kindergarten Open House.

Now that I’m feeling better, we went to Music in the Park for a picnic and some soul music from Ants in the Kitchen!

I just finished a program called “Jump Start” at school. It was a little preview of what is to come in a couple of weeks. Annabel was there! So was Miss Ann, one of my old preschool teachers!
This is the art I made. Let the school art begin!

I found this ramp on the sidewalk and just had to run down it over and over and over again.

Then I got my haircut and acquired a new balloon…and ran down the ramp some more.

I’ve been sick for the past week, so I haven’t gone on any adventures. But I did make drawings of monsters standing next to their homes. Here you go!

It’s turning out to be my summer of animals, as I actually asked to go to the Oregon Zoo.

This is the animal I specifically wanted to see – the Pacific Lamprey. It’s an eel-like fish that’s been around for over 450 million years. And it eats poop!

I also saw a giraffe…

…and a bear.

My favorite insect was the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach.

But my very, very, very favorite animal at the zoo was the Domestic Cat! I went back to see him three times.

Isn’t Buddy cute??

The concert-behind-our-house season has begun!
We walked to Tanner Creek Park, I had my usual jumping session in the bouncy castle, and we ate dinner to the tunes of a Styx cover band!

I’m completely obsessed with LEGOs again (obviously). I don’t like sets with instructions anymore, though. I just want to make whatever I want.

I spent the day at Wings & Waves Waterpark next to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum.

Do you see those water tubes on the side of that 747? I went in those! They slide all the way down to the bottom.

My favorite was Sonic Boom, the yellow slide. I didn’t go on Nose Dive, but I will next time. It’s a giant funnel!

I am a Sky Fighter!

I also rode the Oaks carousel for the first time!
