I like to wake up early. Even though I’m tired. There’s just so much playing to fit into the day.
We got a bunch of fruit in our Imperfect Foods box. So we had a fruit taste test!
I think apricots and honeydew are yuck. But watermelon, strawberries, and plums are yum!
Daddy thinks Dexyheads are delicious!
Grandma and Grandpa got me this Go Kart for Hanukkah. I’ve been using it in the house since then, but I finally took it for a spin outside.
Don’t you think I’m a good Go Kart model?
I practiced my braking skills on this super steep hill.
Pedaling up a hill takes even more practice!
I had to wear a face mask for the first time since coronavirus started. I usually just stay at home or go for walks in empty places. But I went to see my pediatrician for a late 7-year check-up.
I look pretty cool, right? It took some practice, but I succeeded in wearing it the whole time I was there!
My 7-year stats!
Height: 3 feet 10 1/4 inches
Weight: 50 lbs
Favorite foods: Pomegranates, nectarines, corn on the cob
Favorite game: Planet Coaster
Favorite YouTubers: Theme Park Crazy and PewPew Peew
Favorite thing to talk about: Roller coasters! And Hugs and her whole family.
Favorite things to do: Draw amusement parks with Daddy, build my indoor amusement park, watch roller coaster videos, pretend to go to amusement parks in Mommies, look at amusement park websites, and play Planet Coaster.
Compare with my last checkup!
Our deck garden is looking pretty good! The snow peas, corn, potatoes, and teas are growing up big and strong.
The snow peas are the first that we can actually eat! I like to break open the pods and eat the peas inside.
I got a card from Mrs. Flagg in the mail!
Before school ended, we went and got all the stuff I left behind before school had closed.
This is my school I.D. card. I used it to get milk at lunch time.
Here’s a self-portrait I drew on my second day of school. And pictures of other kids in my class.
And a drawing about my favorite person at the time, Phoebe.
Here are a couple of drawings I did with my 4th grade buddy, Ari. I drew the pictures and Ari wrote the words.
The last big project I did at school before it closed was my “All About Me” book. I was going to show it to Mommy and Daddy at spring conferences with Mrs. Flagg. But we never got to have them. So she sent it home with the rest of my stuff to see. I’m very proud of it! Here it is!
Today, I am a kindergarten graduate!
We decorated our car for the drive-thru parade at school.
I got to see Chipper the Squirrel!
And Mrs. Flagg, too! I also got to see lots of other teachers, therapists, and paraeducators. See you next year, in one form or another!
Do you remember when I went to Phoenix’s drive-thru birthday parade last month? Well, he sent me a thank you card, but in the form of a puzzle!
I loved it! This thank you puzzle was so cool!
I am still doing school. Can you believe it??
I wrote words in white crayon and painted over them to reveal…magic words!
I also built a race car track and recorded their distances using different variables. This was my first attempt, but it didn’t work out. (Too fragile.)
I went back to the drawing board and came up with this one. It worked great!
I also started building LEGO creations while standing on this ladder (aka The Puyallup Rollback, a ride in my indoor amusement park).
And we went on walks, of course.
It was fitting that we should find this ladybug on one of our walks, because we were studying ladybugs in school!
