I AM 8!

For my birthday, I skipped school and went to Bricks and Minifigs! I had fun building minifigs from the bulk legs, torsos, and heads. And all of their hand sanitizers were in giant Lego bricks!

Then on Daddy’s lunch break, I opened presents!

I experimented with my new dip pen and ink.

And did some of the custom word searches. Thanks to everyone for the gifts. It was a fun pandemic birthday!

FINLEY AND SUNNIE’S NEW YEAR UPDATE

Sunnie is starting to become more comfortable in our house, including doings things Finley used to never let her do – like hide in the Ripple Rug.

She’s even started to play with toys. She loves string the best!

I’ve been busy making cardboard cat trees for the kitties to share. This is a work in progress. (Designed by me; constructed by Mommy.)

They love to watch Cat TV together.

And Finley loves the “knead” cycle on the bread machine!

END OF YEAR ART ROUNDUP

At school, Ms. Murphy taught us how to draw a snowman.

I did an online drawing tutorial to draw cute cats.

Speaking of cats…I want six of them when I grow up!

I’ve been drawing airplanes again!

I also like to draw spaceships and rockets.

In Mommies, Lazy launches spaceship missions. This is the Lazy 10.

Here is another galaxy that a spaceship is exploring.

Mommies has a very popular movie series called “Starland.” These are all of the important things in “Starland 1.”

These are the important things in “Starland 7.”

There is a cute little animal in Mommies called a Baby Dexy. This is what it and its cage looks like. There is usually a river and lots of tubes!

These are the different systems inside a Baby Dexy’s body.

Here is a map of the Bahamas. I want to go to Cat Island!

This is a story I wrote called “The Icon.”

Rose found out that Lilac was about to be killed. So Rose and Grin went to The Icon Tower to meet. “What’s your name?” Grin asked her what is her name. She doesn’t tell us so we called her No Name. Then we stole the gun. Then No Name chased us. When Rose and Grin went home, Rose the cat said “meow.”

CHRISTMAS 2020

On Christmas morning, I woke up and immediately went to admire all of my gifts!

Sunnie was also in the holiday spirit, hanging out in her Christmas RV.

After we opened all of our presents, Finley took a nap on his high shelf.

Leading up to Christmas, I opened up a small gift in my Advent house every day of December. Some of the gifts I got were these little Lego cats!

SANTA TRACKING

On Christmas Eve, I woke up to a beautiful foggy morning.

But then I got right down to the business of tracking Santa with the NORAD Santa Tracker. When I first checked in the morning, he was on his way to Perth, Australia. By the time I went to bed, he was dropping off presents on the east coast of America!
