I invented a new game called Cat Ball and sometimes we play it out in the yard when Daddy is on lunch break.

FINLEY AND SUNNIE UPDATE

Sunnie is feeling much more comfortable in our house. She comes out to play and lounge around.

She loves Finley. They love to play together…

…and nap together.

They LOVE cardboard boxes. Every time we get a new box, we just throw it in the living room.

She’s still mostly scared of us humans, but Finley loves to hang out with me.

We hung up some paper bats for Halloween and Finley was VERY interested in them.

He also continues to be king of the naps.

The roller coaster that I made for Finley looked like so much fun, I had to take a ride on it, too.

I made Finley his own roller coaster and it turns out he’s a born coaster enthusiast.

He also continues to be a mischief maker. He pulled the vent right out of the floor and started exploring.

And after all that playing, he likes to take a nap in his cat tree.

For the first couple of weeks after Sunnie joined our family, Finley didn’t like her. Even though they still fight once in a while, they’re now best friends!

I went to the doctor to get my flu shot. How do you like my face mask? It has cats on it. And they’re wearing…face masks.

LUNCHTIME WALK

My school district gives out free lunch to all of the kids. So after my morning Zoom classes, we walk to one of the school buses that hands them out. It’s a nice little ten minute walk to break up the day.

MEET SUNNIE!

On September 13th, we went to Beaverton to pick up our newest kitten, Sunnie!

I didn’t have any pictures of her earlier because she was very scared and always hid under the bed. But now she’s ready to look around a little! Isn’t she so cute?
