The forecast said to expect snow, but instead, we had little bits of ice falling from the sky. After a while, ice covered everything!
I went outside and slipped and slid all over the place. I couldn’t make any snowmen, but I did do some ice sledding!
My Great Great Uncle Dave celebrated his 100th birthday and I went to his Zoom party!
Uncle Dave is on the top left. I’m right next to him. Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Mike were there, too!
My online school program hosted a Fun Friendship Game Day on Zoom for Grades 1 through 5. It was really fun!
I got to choose a bunch of games to play. One of them was Valentine’s Day Bingo.
For the Scavenger Hunt, I had to find something yellow. I got a yellow Lego!
On Fridays, we now have a theme for the school day. This Friday, it was “Wear A Hat” Day.
A few days ago, Mommy got a message from OHSU that said, because I was autistic and “medically fragile,” they were in Phase 1A for the Covid vaccine and to sign up for a big vaccine party at the airport.
So we drove up there and found lots of other people there, too.
We brought lots of snacks and I entertained myself by taking selfie videos.
After two and half hours, we could see the tent where Mommy and Daddy were getting their vaccine. I was just happy I wasn’t getting a poke!
Daddy got his first.
Then Mommy.
Then we waited for 15 minutes before they set us free.
They got cool Band-Aids, but I still don’t want one!
Grandma and Grandpa got me a rocket for Hanukkah. Today, we launched it!
I spent some time building one of my new Lego sets…
…and launching the Space Shuttle Endeavor!
For my birthday, I skipped school and went to Bricks and Minifigs! I had fun building minifigs from the bulk legs, torsos, and heads. And all of their hand sanitizers were in giant Lego bricks!
Then on Daddy’s lunch break, I opened presents!
I experimented with my new dip pen and ink.
And did some of the custom word searches. Thanks to everyone for the gifts. It was a fun pandemic birthday!
