BONUS POST: POTTY TIME! EXCELLENT!

When Mom and Dad put a potty in my bathroom a few months ago, I wanted nothing to do with it. Frankly, it freaked me out! But as time went on, and with a little help from the book “Potty” by Leslie Patricelli, I began warming up to it.

A few weeks ago, I started sitting on my potty in return for a sticker on my Potty Chart, and the promise that after filling a row with stickers, I would get a new car! And cars did I indeed get.

Well tonight, ladies and gentleman, I actually (drumroll please) p-p-peed in my potty! Holla! (Mom and Dad gave me a brand new school bus for that one. I am cashing in big time!)

NICHOLENA’S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Andy’s sister, Nicholena, turned one year old and I went to her birthday party yesterday. I played with a ball and searched for rocks with Andy!

Andy turned three years old a couple weeks ago, so I made them both birthday cards. Thank you to Sebastian’s Mom and Dad for the stickers!

30-MONTH CHECKUP

My 30-month stats!

Length: 34 in (5th percentile)

Weight: 24 lbs 12 oz (0 percentile)

Head circumference: 49 cm (50th percentile)

Number of teeth: 16

Favorite food: Trader Joe’s organic whole milk plain yogurt (don’t give me any other kind!)

Favorite toy: All of my cars and trucks. I can’t choose a favorite.

Favorite book: Cars and Trucks and Things That Go by Richard Scarry

Words I say: Way too many now to count. But I recently started saying “and,” so now I can make big compound sentences. (For example: White car here and blue car gone.)

Stuff I can do: Recognize numbers, upper case letters, shapes, and colors; say the alphabet, count to 20, sing “Wheels on the Bus” (a thousand times a day!), and pretend to sneeze (ah-ah-ah-choo!)

Compare with my last checkup!
