Mommy and I checked out the spray park closest to our apartment. And though I was afraid of the sprinklers at first, I quickly learned to love them and never, ever want to leave.

The apartment complex we live in has a swimming pool!

Wow, this weekend is a scorcher. So yesterday, we went to the Jamison Square fountain to cool off. But first I fell asleep in the car on the way. But after, I ate ice cream! And I liked it!

Mommy is putting on my hooded sweatshirt before going out to the park.
Mommy: Dexy, I think we need to get you a new sweatshirt. This one’s getting too small. You’re getting bigger.
Me: I’m getting bigger! I can drink beer now!

I’m not all that fond of sleeping much at night, so lately I’ve become a real top notch car napper.

Yesterday, we took Chubs to Mary S. Young Dog Park to celebrate his 7th anniversary as a Hardy Ludwig. He had a great time meeting other dogs, resting in the sun, resting in the shade, and getting out into the world for the first time since his surgery. You should check out his blog post, too!

Before we left, I had a little fall down. But after half an hour of iPad playing and yogurt eating, I went back to the scene of the crime and nailed it.

Mommy isn’t the only person who takes pictures around here. I grabbed her camera and took these!

I am going through Mommy’s wallet and look at a five dollar bill.
Me: What is this apartment?
Mommy: That’s called the Lincoln Memorial.
Mommy has shingles, so we’ve been spending a lot of time indoors at home lately. In other words…BEST WEEK EVER.
